https://resonanceaudiodistro.org/2019/03/15/this-is-what-democracy-looks-like-audiozine/ In the words of the introduction to this pamphlet, âOne would think that a political doctrine and system that was propagated by the bourgeoisie in their rise to power, that is promoted world-wide by the Western ruling class, and that has only existed in its so-called âpureâ form on the backs of slaves, would at least be suspect in the eyes of those who oppose the present social order. But such is not the case.â Indeed, it remains lost on many would-be radicals that contemporary democracy is only the form of government dominance which is best suited to industrial discipline, its late capitalist successors, and all the therapeutic measures that they necessitate. A substantial difference posited between even the most âdirectâ forms of democracy and a living, breathing anarchy? Inquire within.

Skin In The Game: How Antisemitism Animates White Nationalism by Eric Ward Awesome new audio up on the website about the connections between antisemitism and racism take a listen. "American White nationalism, which emerged in the wake of the 1960s civil rights struggle and descends from White supremacism, is a revolutionary social movement committed to building a Whites-only nation, and antisemitism forms its theoretical core."

âThey say, hell, let the earth become a vast hell. So they speak crying and shouting. They say, let my words be like the tempest the thunder the lightning that the mighty release from their height. They say, let me be seen everywhere arms in hand. They say anger hate revolt. They say, hell, let the earth become a vast hell destroying killing and setting fire to the buildings of men, to theatres, national assemblies, to museums, libraries, prisons, psychiatric hospitals, old and new from which they free the slaves."

N30: The Seattle WTO Protests â a memoir and analysis, with an eye to the future â From CrimethInc. â MP3 â Read â Print â Archive â Torrent â YouTubâŠ
Today marks the 19th anniversary of the 1999 protests against the World Trade Organization (WTO) that took place on the streets of Seattle. These protests were part of much larger anti-globalization and anti-capitalist struggles across the world. They were also one of the first incidents of the use of the black bloc as a tactic in the so-called United States.
Many of us have some kind of story about our relationship to these protests; some of us were there, some of us participated in solidarity actions elsewhere, some of us experienced the protest's coverage as a catalyst for our own radicalization, and for those of us too young to remember, the WTO protests of 1999 hold some sort of mythic status in our minds.
Feeling nostalgic, or maybe curious? Come take a listen to our recording of "N30: The Seattle WTO Protests: A Memoir and Analysis, With an Eye to the Future" originally put out by Crimethinc in 2006.

"The Question of Organization", originally published by the magazine Insurrection, makes an argument in favor of informal, autonomous, affinity-based modes of organization.
"We think it is never possible to see the outcome of a struggle in advance. Even a limited struggle can have the most unexpected consequences. And in any case, the passage from the various insurrections-limited and circumscribed-to revolution can never be guaranteed in advance by any procedure. We go forward by trial and error, and say to whoever has a better method-carry on."

The Unquiet Dead Anarchism, Fascism, and Mythology â Chapter 5 The Masked Goddess: Self-Invention and Becoming â MP3 â Read â Print â Archive â Torrent â YâŠ
Did you miss us? We're back, this time with The Unquiet Dead's 5th Chapter "The Masked Goddess: Self-Invention and Becoming"
In this chapter of The Unquiet Dead, the author touches on Gloria AnzaldĂșa, Audre Lorde, and Saidiya Hartman, and explains how getting in touch with our cultural and spiritual roots can be a form of opposition to hierarchy and state power- so long as it is done through an anti-essentialist framework.
"The process of self-invention through cultural reclamation, bodily reimagining, and the construction of narrative is a necessary part of revolutionary practice for those of us who have long been denied a sense of wholenessâbut it is not an end in itself. However doomed our struggles may be, our attempts at self-definition are even more doomed when they are not part of material and social struggle. We must keep our narratives flexible, innovative, and in a state of becoming; they must not exclude, but invite, and we must not trespass, but share."
Take a listen to our newest recording- "Another Word for White Ally is Coward"
This short piece questions the role of formal organizations in social struggles, and the role of the "white ally" within them. Additionally, the piece warns of the erasure of the agency of black folks when white rebels are blamed for acts of vandalism, disobedience, and other acts of illegality. The authors champion genuine friendship, solidarity, and co-conspiration over the paternalism of organizations and the "white allies" who belong to them.
"There is no singular black voice that can be listened to, no authentic community leadership which to follow. There are only many different people with different ideas, life experiences and perspectives. To think otherwise, to think that all black people share a common opinion is extremely problematic, one might even say racist. One can be an ally to individuals though there are other words in the English language which describe this relationship with more grace: friend, lover, partner and sometimes cellmate or co-defendant."

Check out our most recent recording; "N30: The Seattle WTO Protests" published by Crimethinc in 2006.
The piece presents us with two texts written during and after WTO, one of which is passionate personal account, and the other a strategic analysis. Together, they form a beautiful history of the WTO protests that we can all learn from and be inspired by.
"While the servants were busy terrorizing us and the rest of the blockades, the wily and mobile Black Bloc dealt with their masters in kind. Masked little elves armed with slingshots, sledgehammers, mallets chains, and crowbars attacked The Gap, McDonaldâs, Niketown, Bank of America, Starbucks, Leviâs, Fidelity Investment, Old Navy, Key Bank, Washington Mutual, Nordstromâs, US Bankcorp, Planet Hollywood, and other manifestations of corporate dominance, smashing windows and redecorating facades. I am ecstatic. Those glittering towers are not invincible after all. The greatest trick the vampires ever played was convincing us that garlic did not exist. Let their facade be torn to pieces, and may the walls come tumbling down."
