While I have the whole “YouTube” topic in mind, and after watching Markiplier’s video for the 3rd time about it, I wanna say something I a term that more people will understand, because the whole “coding” part might throw people off, and this may or may not make it easy to understand but I want to throw this out there because, why not?
So like Mark said in his video, G+ was something google forced down the throats of everyone, it was something you had to have to use YouTube at all, and with this came a bigger issue that was never intended to become an issue at all, and before I get more into I wanna say that the whole thing that happened October 16th with the servers shutting down was most likely a lie, or if anything YouTube didn’t give us 100% of the truth because they don’t even know what fully caused it, so since G+ is in the process of shutting down with that comes a major flaw, look at it like this, since G+ was forced onto everyone that was using YouTube, and everyone who still uses YouTube, YouTube became a body, and G+ became the heart, brain and organs of YouTube pretty much, and with G+ shutting down, they’re taking away something that was pretty much the foundation of YouTube at this point, so much of G+ is inside YouTube that with G+ being removed it’s breaking YouTube pretty much, and that’s the flaw that was never intended to become an issue
YouTube was never “YouTube”, it was Google Plus 2.0 pretty much, and with that fact comes a good side and a bad side for the near future, quick reminder that G+ plans to be fully shut down in 2019 (most likely early to mid 2019)
The good side is: Once G+ is fully removed, and YouTube is fixed, YouTube will be it’s own thing, it won’t rely on G+ to work anymore, and that’s gonna make things a lot more easy and better, maybe even faster.
The bad side is, we’re left with so many unanswered questions that YouTube doesn’t even have the answer for. Like: How long is YouTube gonna be broken? We don’t know, and the thing is, it’s not even at it’s worse point yet, it’s gonna get worse as more and more of G+ is taken out of YouTube and an even bigger question, how broken will YouTube be once G+ is fully removed? My guess is most (maybe 75-90%) of the website will be completely broken, and it could take weeks, months, or maybe a year or two to fully fix it, because YouTube doesn’t know the issue at hand, when it went down on October 16th, they didn’t know what caused it, they still don’t know, and if they do they’re not giving us the answers we, the users deserve to know.
And like Markiplier said in his video, YouTube will never be “good” until YouTube gets real people to talk to their users instead of automated messages.
BUT HEEEEEEEY THAT’S not a theory….and it’s far from…A GAME THEORY
