Mind that you replace spaces with %20 and slash with *s*. For example, "coffeshop au" won't filter it; "coffeeshop%20au" will. Similarly "/reader" won't work, and "*s*reader" will. Remember, only write inside the quotation marks. You can also copy the tags you want to filter directly from your browser’s search bar, then they’re already formatted correctly, like:

And presto, save your site skin, use it, and you will forever filter anything you want. You can add more tags to filter any time you want.

This, as an enabled site skin, will work across all your devices. Mind that the filtered works are hidden, but still count into the 20 fics per page that ao3 offers. Therefore if you're, like me, terminally picky about fic, you might end up with 3 works per page.

Is this nice, clean coding? Probably not. But it works!

I know it doesn't help with tumblr experience, but you can make ao3 way smoother!

i feel like real champagne is often (?) the right nice pale yellow color s;fvhdfgd but in the official art it's actually a little more bright yellow XD;;; it would be more saturated ...... IDK how much the color varies though bc i actually don't drink or pay much attention to drinks LOL;;;

There is definitely variation in the color! Some really are that bright yellow while others are paler, but I'd have no idea how that affects the flavor because I prefer cooked alcohol over drinking it straight and I don't actually know all that much about the process of making it either XD

I also don't really pay much attention to alcoholic drinks unless I'm writing about them, but one of my brothers did say he thought the champagne we were served was supposed to be white wine (I mean it is a sparkling wine) and then when he was told what it was he said "it was bad" asdhklf

I have no idea what that means, so I'd hazard a guess that this just didn't appeal to his personal preferences XD

i ...... associate paler color with a higher amount of water but that's not about alcohol,,... so i don't know if brighter color also indicates higher saturation in the case of alcohol ^^;;;; i googled it, and it looks like the color is actually related to the type of grapes it's made with and/or how much it's aged, and has nothing to do with the amount of alcohol at all XD;;;;

"IT WAS BAD" ADHJHSF ive also had people just flatly respond to questions like this with no further explanation?? XD;;; so like.. if it had actually been white wine and not champagne, would it have been okay? XD it sounds like a safe guess that it just wasn't his preference XD

i read just now that the taste of alcohol is like a burning sensation in the throat, so i don't feel like im missing anything bc i actually already can't take drinking sparkling water or carbonated drinks, it makes my mouth feel like burning and i can't even swallow it XD;
