The day was like any other. Almost. Very recently, Ed felt that his base was feeling cramped. Everyone had their own thing to do and having to share it with others who were equally as busy got annoying.
Eventually, Ed couldn't take it anymore. He went out to find a cheap or (preferably) abandoned building to refurbish and transform into a second base (or the one to replace the original base).
After a while of scrolling through listings and walks around the city, Ed stumbled upon an abandoned building he'd never seen before, far from his usual dwellings.
Based on the size of the building, it was either an office complex or meant for apartments. Regardless, it was basically perfect. After making sure he had a mask to keep out any spores, he practically ran in.
The condition wasn't that bad, he practically made up his mind! He was about to call the others and tell them he finally found what he needed when, suddenly, he heard shuffling from the floor above.
It sounded like frantic steps. What does Ed do?

Edward looked up, his eyes narrowing at the idea that he might not be be alone as he had once thought. It could be some wild animal, some squatters or some people looking for a place to do drugs, he couldn't have be sure unless he went to take a look to see if the building was secured, he knew if anything were to happen he'd be fine with his agents near by.
He pulled up his mask and tightened the straps of his gloves, he headed to the nearest staircase, leaning on the handle as much as he could to avoid hurting his leg any further.
Thought he was nervous, since if there was already the chance or one there could be two or more, but he'd be safe as mentioned before, he just kept his stun gun at the ready.
