I missed you guys!  Hope you were all good while I was gone!
ooc; Okay so I was one day off... Haha, but Iâm back now so um, hello everyone~  I am going to be working on replies but things will be slow for a bit as I catch up. I will get perhaps one or two replies out a day with the exception of short, conversational, or crack threads.
"Oh, Zack. You're back! It's alright. I know you're always busy in your every mission. You such work harder, right? We still have next year. And you're always be my Valentine"

Update~ Skype
To accompany my post about the semi-haitus (more like haitus *shot*), I would like you all to know that I am always online on skype for chat or shorthand roleplay and if you want my username you are welcome to drop me a message. Iâm always open to meeting new people.
I am still on haitus/semi-haitus but I am going to be working on replies and starters now so that I can begin posting again at the end of the week.
Semi-Haitus
Most of you have probably noticed this, but I havenât been able to come online much recently. And when I do, itâs only for a short period of time. So I am announcing a semi-haitus for the next few weeks. I will still be replying to people, checking my messages, and updating my drafts and my threads page but at a much slower rate.
I will make a full return by February 15th.

âI see, welcome to Midgar,â he replied to the girl. âWhereâs your hometown?â
Hometown. What is a hometown anyway? At least for her. She wonder if the town where Guertena first painted her count as one. But she doesnât remember the town, it was so long ago. Or maybe her hometown is just the fabricated world.
âIâm not sure. I donât remember much of it. But I know we moved around after a while. Then I got adopted by my big brother.â Mary explained. She doesnât like lying. But it was true, the gallery moved around for a bit, now and then, showing off Guertenaâs works.
He wondered why she wouldn't say. Even if she didn't remember she had to have known someone who did.  Why didn't she know? Unless she just didn't want him to know where she was from. Or didn't want to know about the place.
"Not sure?" Zack repeated, "But even if you moved around, shouldn't someone have told you where you're from?"

Having returned from several back-to-back missions that day, Zack wanted nothing more than to get some sleep so that he wouldnât be tired for his training tomorrow. But before he could rest, he had to return to Shin-Raâs SOLDIER floor to report.
It was late in the afternoon and the sun was setting, but the Shin-Ra building wasnât far now. Exhaling, he turned a corner, just two blocks from the structure. The streets in the surrounding area were surprisingly crowded considering the hour. People were returning from work and running errands. Aside from the crowd, there wasnât a lot that appeared new.
Half asleep on his feet, he didnât notice a girl turn corner in front of him until she ran into him. He blinked and stepped back to look over the girl. She seemed frantic and apologetic, but darted off again. âHey, wait!â he called.
It was a rather calm, good day-three purses and two wallets snagged later, Llyria was wandering the streets in a new jacket that did not fit her outfit at all. Not only was she wearing rags, but they were a bit dirty and smelled some, too. Her next mission was to get herself some decent clothing.
Blending into a crowd with her wings covered well as they were was easy, and she discovered this right off-she did not fit, and yet somehow did. Nobody seemed to notice her attire or the distant, fearful looks she sometimes gave to people at random. Most of that was just her being quirky; she could feel things none here could, which was how she knew to avoid certain people.
Honestly, with all her skill, avoiding running into a random guy on the street would have been easy-but it was dimmer now, and she had been distracted by her own thoughts. Taking one glance over the other she recognized him as a member of SOLDIER; in that instant several years of pure instinct kicked in and she turned to run.
Not quite sure what to do, Zack ran after the girl. He chased her for several minutes, hoping to catch her and find out what was wrong.  His objective to return to the Shin-Ra building long forgotten, Zack drew a mental map of the city. And when he thought he predicted where the girl might turn next, he sped up. They turned, running one after the other into an alley punctuated by a dead end.
Realizing she stopped, Zack slowed to catch his breath, happy that all those squats had paid off. He glancing to the girl and thought she looked as if she were debating something. But what?
He decided it might just be best to ask. He sighed and gave the other a weak smile to assure her there wasn't anything wrong. "Hey," he said, "Who were you running from?" He paused a moment before adding, "I'm in SOLDIER, you know. If something's wrong I might be able to help."

Whatâs this? Visitors sauntering forth after a long period of absence already? Cuspate blues cycled newfangled faces, a touch of spurious curiosity illuminating a crafty visage with just a twitch of a russet brow. His head inclines as if to heed their presence, with it plunging a collection of autumnal tresses as if they mimicked the chestnut flight of Fall. The new came with their own legends. Tales etched on foreign parchments where the artful bard would consume and save the knowledge for another day. This intrigued him - the act of discovering those whom were birthed in otherworldly realms and wallowed into the parched wastes of Gaia. But he neednât dwell on his love for this, rather straightening out his charming figure and bestowing dulcet welcomings to these wayfarers.
âIt is rare for folk to idly walk these plains when beasts plague even the most unlikely of places. The land is untamed once more â what brings you here?â
Zack tipped his head, eyes tracing the still unfamiliar structure that was the Shin-Ra Electric Company. From the receptionists' desk to the SOLDIER floors, he was ecstatic to partake in the daily operations of SOLDIER. Getting into SOLDIER had been difficult at first, but his dream kept him training, working to improve as much as he could. And his persistence and diligence in regards to his work had been rewarding. He doubted he would remain a 3rd for much longer.
His newest assignment took him to the desolate plains not far outside the city limits. He completed this task and brushed his uniform of the dirt staining it. He looked around as if to confirm the mission was really complete before turning so as to return to report his success back to Shin-Ra. His 23rd success! Distracted by the thought, Zack almost didn't notice the SOLDIER in scarlet until they spoke to him. "Hm?" he murmured, looking back to the stranger.
"Are you...?" he asked, trailing off as the other's attire registered, "You're the SOLDIER 1st class Genesis!"

He rubbed the back of his neck, the drying pink stain on the back of his uniform a more than subtle reminder that the Turk was an impressive shot.  He grinned, smirking at the others excitement. He was wary of what it meant, but aside from the extra laundry, how bad could a paintball war be? âI guess weâll see if I do.â
âI look forward to it Fair, I hope you have gotten your uniform allowance.. you are going to need it.â Who knows this might be fun to pull their two departments into the war, let SOLDIER figure out where to get the paintball guns⊠oh yes.. a Turk vs SOLDIER paintball war⊠it was so ON!Â
Hopefully he wouldn't need any allowance if the paint came out.  Not that he was going to make it that easy for Tseng or the other Turks to stain his uniform again. "You're lucky you get paid more than I do..." he laughed, "You'll need the money to buy yourself a new suit." But as soon as he got a paintball gun himself. Then war would really begin.
He could understand the name if that was the case, but he couldnât be talking about real magic, could he?  That sort of thing didnât exist. âYou mean magic tricks, right? Like with cards, rabbits, and hats?â
Harry shook his head. âNo. Real magic, the stuff your taking about is fake at best. I can show you real magic, that is, if you want to.â He said calmly, this was something he had come to except.
"Alright, then lets see what you can do." Zack waited somewhat expectantly for the other to show him what he meant. He still couldn't believe that real magic existed.  But really, he thought, wouldn't more people know about it if it did?Â

Zack chuckled at the thought of the Turks following Sephiroth with their paintball guns, âI would have liked to be a spectator then. And you know, I wonât be so easy of a target next time.â He knew Tseng was probably looking for a challenge, but Zack wasnât about to concede defeat. Let the real paintball wars begin⊠after he changed his uniform.
Tseng smile wickedly at that, the challenge that this was presenting had his adrenaline rising. He LOVED challenges and the puppy was offering up a possibly very very fun one. âReally now Zackary, you think you can make a harder target for the Turks?â Ohh boy better word his response right, he might come back to regret it.Â

His face twitched with amusement at the other manâs body language obviously an opinion shared by many upon hearing the place for the first time. Though they tend to get over it. âItâs a school for magic, believe it or not. I can show you if you wish,â He offered.

âWell, I only move here about three months ago. But it still feel like I just move here.â Mary admit.

âStardard issue paintball guns.â He laughed, âThen how come I havenât seen any of you with them before? Is âping the SOLDIERâ a new game?â He hoped it wasnât. He didnât think his uniform wouldnât last if it was. Dodging the Turks during their painball wars wasnât something heâd like to have to make a habit either. He sighed and smiled a bit, âYouâre not going to do this again, are you?â
âCause you donât come into our office, you came into our office you would see paintball guns everywhere. No ping the SOLDIER has been a game since Sephiroth was still a 3rd class. You have just been lucky enough not to have gotten pinged.â His mentor and Genesis on the other hand were favorites of theirs. âToday? Probably not⊠tomorrow.. well keep your eyes open.â Feeling all the blood rushing to his head Tseng dropped down out of the grate and back onto the floor.Â

Zack looked over the boy and around at the strange place. âSOLDIER 2nd Class Zack Fair. Itâs nice to meet you tooâŠÂ But uh, where am I?â
âNice to meet you Mr. FairâŠ.sir,â Harry added after a pause. âYour currently on the outskirts nearing Hogwarts school; I can take you there if you want to.â
He rubbed the back of his neck and raised an eyebrow at the strange name. "Hogwarts?  What kind of school is it?"
