So I got this album today, which I’m currently listening to and very excited about.

something really bugged me though. I’ve since peeled it off in protest, but there was a huge sticker across the bottom third of the cover quite obviously to hide the fact that there’s a few pubes on show.

as if it matters.

I found it really offensive the more I thought about it. This isn’t a sexual image - if anything it’s the total opposite to everything we’ve come to expect of what we are told is ‘sexy’ in the media these days

It is a beautiful image, though. one that speaks to me of strength and empowerment, whilst maintaining a real vulnerability. That’s not to mention the interesting gender role going on.

fuck hiding all that away. it’s nothing to be ashamed of whatsoever.
