⟡ ═══ ♛ ═══ ⟡ “…!!! Ahhh!! Come back and lemme dex ya!?!?” She doesn’t have you dexed yet, COME BAAAAACKKKK!!!!!
“Bye bye!”
He waves, since he’s not a eager dex monster like the other is. Napkin in hand like some damsel.
people who say rose is a bastard of evil
me: so...you have chosen death.

⟡ ═══ ♛ ═══ ⟡ “Maybe. Let’s see… Hup!” She effortlessly climbs up the tree to where the Clefairy is bustling about, slowly extending a hand, palm up, to try not to spook it. “Hey there… let’s go back down before you get hurt, ya?”
Lo and behold! for the small clefairy turns into Mew! booping the champion nose and flying into the air beyond. god has been seen-
“....Well I suppose that happened.”
Twilights wings is so beautiful.
Also i just notice but in pokemon galar the stadiums are filled and very big and have dome like structures on top. this also prevents most noise from filing out to not disturb early sleepers since it shows in twilight wings pokemon that pokemon matches do happen, even late at evening.
Believe in yourself like Chairman Rose believes in Oleana.
oflegendariesandtrainers:
“It gives me something to do.” Soyi would cut right to the chase with that response. Sure, he lived for the thrill of the next big breakthrough in innovation. Most of the time, however… it gave him something else to focus on. Something that wouldn’t wind up with him being in the hospital, or worse.
“If not for my fascination with science and invention to give me something else to focus on, I probably would have done something that could have gotten me killed by now. Arceus knows that my hatred toward Rocket knows no bounds–and even though Lohi survived due to divine intervention, I still find time to come up with ways to make sure they can’t take him from me again.”
Yeah, he still had that grudge, even now. At least he was trying to temper it, for the most part.
“At least I built a region-wide surveillance system. That way, if people like Rocket or Plasma show up in the region, the system will pick up on it and alert the entire region to the invasion. It’s one way in which I help keep everyone in Shokiko safe from harm–part of my duty as a Gym Leader.”
Human hatred, pokemon were like that too? It took a long while for Alder to get angry, having lost most emotions but happiness when it came to decent conversations. After all no one wants a champion, even a elected one to show a ounce of sadness. Perhaps if he didn’t get that position, his friend would still be...his friend.
Does this man not know? team rocket is long gone now, or retired. And plasma is also gone. he wonders how out of the loop this young man is, how potent the rage is.
“Well, if you still have those feelings. I can’t pursuade you to let it go, that would be insulting. But have a back up plan in case you do die.” he says, rather mercilessly. Thumbing his thumb between the menu pages.
“I think I’ll get the cheese burger!”
oflegendariesandtrainers:
“I’m more observant than I might look these days. It’s hard to pull one over on me.” Then again, between the stuff that happened with Team Plasma and Soyi’s own personal spats with Team Rocket, it really was difficult to catch him off-guard. Factor in the boy’s own love of mischief and pranks, and things would turn out rather interesting.
Still, it would be a relatively short trip to the restaurant in question–known throughout Onyx City for both its excellent service and food, and as soon as Soyi stepped beyond the door, the waitress would nod to him.
“The usual, Soyi?”
“Not today.” Soyi chuckled. “I’ve got an honored guest with me, so I’ll be paying for two meals instead of one this time.”
“You got it! Just find a table and I’ll be out in a minute with the menus.”
As the waitress headed off, Soyi would turn to look at Alder with a smile.
“I love this place–the cheeseburgers here are top notch, although they’ve got something that caters to everyone’s tastes. Plus it’s a good place to hear local gossip in the city, although occasionally I’ll run into people here who are looking to challenge either my Gym or the Steel-type Gym that can also be found in the city.”
Alder is always one to test limits, to go where no one has ever go before. the sheer experience he has...in any case, there are too many things he cannot say to the public, best to remain in myths. He wonders how Mew is doing, he wonders a lot. the friends he made, he wonders if he’s not some pokemon in human skin, it would turn out far more interesting and fun if he was.
Hee hee.
“Its been a while since I had a cheese burger, doctor saying I got to watch my blood pressure. Nothing wrong with me.” aside from age, but thats for another time.
He stretches, smiling.
Its been a while since he been in a restaurant. Going into journeys isn’t cheap. After all there is little place for money out in the wilds.
Looking out the window, it was just like every other place. No matter how great someone thinks a city is, it ends up being the same. A bit cynical.
“Being a gym leader and with all those renovations. You must be really busy huh.”
oflegendariesandtrainers:
“I’m not about to have you expend any money while you’re here. You’re an honored guest in this region and beloved by so many of our League members, so it would be rude of me to force you to pay for our meal. I’ll foot the bill.”
Live strong and proud, but also show respect and hospitality toward those who paved the way before you. That was the way of the Unovan, and Soyi wasn’t about to break that mindset. Of course, the other mindset that he had was one he picked up from living on the back streets of Castelia–but hopefully Alder wouldn’t need to see that one out of him.
Still, Soyi would motion for Alder to follow him out of the Gym. “There’s a decent restaurant a few blocks away, and the owners there know me by name due to how often I stop by. We’ll get some food, and I’ll explain what happened in regards to Lohi.”
“Well I”m not one to turn down free food. But I’ll find a way to return the favor. Even if you never know it.” He grins, almost with a hint of mischief which is never good. the mischief that even a few former champion can get to is something that everyone should fear. No matter how old Alder is, he is a disaster, a tornado in human form. When he wills to.
“Lead the way! I ain’t got nowhere to be.” Is that what it felt to have fans? usually they were more annoying than this, but as a pokemon trainer, respect is given.
oflegendariesandtrainers:
“Of course! It is a bit of a large region, though, so there’s going to be a lot for you to see.” Soyi would then call toward one room in specific–the only room in the Gym with the door closed. “Lohi, I’m heading out! Keep an eye on the Gym while I’m gone!”
It would be a moment before the door opened and the person in question would stare at Soyi for all of one second before he noticed why his twin was leaving. Well, this was going to become awkward, most likely.
“Champion Alder. It’s been a while… I’m sure Soyi will explain everything that needs to be explained while you two are wandering the region.”
“Oh, sure. Stick me with the explanations. I’m onto you, Lohi.” Soyi chuckled. Still, he would gladly explain just what happened between then and now. After all, the last time anyone from Unova had heard anything about Lohi Bellarose was during the Team Rocket attack in Castelia City, and there had been supposedly three casualties that day–both of the boys’ uncles, and Lohi himself.
It was going to make for one interesting explanation, that was certain.
Alder is not one to look at the past, looking at the past meant being considered old fashion. Unneeded, and most of all, weak. He only looks when he should, but right now there is no recollection [that he will show] upon seeing the other. His smile is blinding upon the two.
“well lets go. Hey, I”m feeling hungry. Can we get some food? I’ll pay.” Live strong and proud, thats something unovans did , no matter who you were. Isn’t that right Ghetsis?
plasmasworst:
🔮 “A champion is a champion to me.” He scratched at his neck a bit before looking to the sky. “It doesn’t matter how you got the spot. Even if it meant using cheap tactics to win a fight, like me.” He glanced back down and looked the man in the eyes. “So, what do you think would make this world better?”
“Hmmm.”
“Well for me, it would be a world where people don’t need pokeballs. But thats impossible in this era.”
A champion is a champion huh? Must be nice to think that. The elected champion...is something that he won’t get over.
plasmasworst:
🔮 He waited for a moment before realizing that was it. “Ah.” He pulled the hood he had down. He looked identical to the rest of the grunts, almost like a twin. “So, why don’t you tell people to cast aside the pokeballs and just live without them?”
“Many reasons. And the words of a elected champion is not one people would tend to enjoy.”
“That and the people are used to pokeballs and the convenience they have.”
plasmasworst:
🔮 “Yeah? Which ones are those? Pokemon liberation?” He never thought he’d be sitting goodie goodie with the dang CHAMP, but still. Any chance to maybe get Plasma ideals into the media or big names is a chance he needed to take.
“Well I know it would be nice if we can make friends with pokemon without the usage of the pokeball. But thats it. Everything else is too extreme to be practical.”
Children of Ghetis, of N, what ideals you have.
Alder thinks the existence of luxury balls is bad because it artifically makes a bond with trainer and pokemon.
@plasmasworst
“You know, I did agree with some of team Plasma ideals.” like the existence of luxury ball. It was a pokeball that forced a special bond between trainer and pokemon and it felt artificial using it. He wonders when the good old days happen when people fought without pokeballs.
oflegendariesandtrainers:
“I wasn’t expecting a visit from the Unovan Champion today, even if said Champion no longer holds the title.”
Soyi was definitely surprised by Alder’s arrival, and as such hurried to clean up the spare gears and parts from his latest mechanical foray. Despite not living in Unova anymore, he wanted to show respect and hospitality to the man he deemed as his Champion of Unova.
“What brings you all the way to Shokiko, Alder? Surely it can’t be just to check out my Gym and arcade. Does it have to do with the fact that the region and League itself was founded by some of Unova’s best Trainers?”
thats laying it so thick he can practically see the ooze from it. But Alder, practically used to people who say what they mean, smiles softly.
“You know me! Travelling everywhere My feet can carry.” He wouldn’t be the worst champion ever if he didn’t ignore everything to do what he loves most. Travelling and seeing new places. some places didn’t even have wild pokemon. It was wild.
“How about a tour of the place?”
