bucktommy fluffbruary day 22 // 🎂 celebrations 🌸

Tommy flies with Evan to Minnesota to visit Bobby for his birthday. Buck makes a flan birthday cake and Bobby’s chili and they all have a picnic and catch up and laugh and cry. The wreath they lay is August’s flowers: gladioluses and poppies. He knows he made the right choice when he looks up that one symbolizes strength and integrity, while the other represents remembrance and imagination. While they pack up to leave, Tommy asks for a moment alone with Bobby. He thanks him for bringing Evan into his life and to ask one important question. A sudden gust of wind nearly knocks Tommy on his ass—back towards Evan. Well, I guess that answers that.

fluffbruary day 12 // learning something new together 🧶

went with an alt prompt today! sue blevins is my favorite character and i really wanted to draw the boys knitting (shoutout @chaussettecanape again 😘) so in my ideal world, they’d get together every once in a while for brunch and a cute lil stitch session. i’d like to think tommy took up knitting while he was grounded with an injury a long while back and it stuck. he used to just knit little coasters and plant holders for his their house but now he wants to make something really nice for evan 😌

another pivot for today’s @bucktommyfluffebruary prompt. we lost our beloved augustus yesterday and i knew i had to draw just a little something to honor him. and since i drew him for @cappuccinoandglitter for last fluffbruary, i’m revisiting the his valiant heart universe for it.

augie’s favorite food was a fluffernutter sandwich and my sister would treat him with one (or two) every single week. when they were at faire together, they would even share one between jousts. so here’s augie sneaking up on tommy to steal his lunch as is his right 🥪💖

Anyway, I’ve been thinking a lot about an adventure movie style bucktommy au but there are also dragons that come in a variety of different sizes for different uses. Kind of like How to Train Your Dragon crossed with the Leviathan or Airborne books. Is that too niche?

Anyway maybe I’ll write it someday but for now it only lives in my brain and these art pieces
