The moment Tabitha had walked in to the party, she was all ready to let go of the stress of her normal life and just have fun for once. It was rare for her to really let herself go, always the one with her life pulled together tight. It was time for her to let it go, just this once. What could one party really hurt? It’s why she found herself quickly a little too tipsy and giggly, and finishing up her song at the karaoke stand. Another thing she hardly ever did, but she kind of liked it and wanted to go again. Stumbling down from the small stage where the microphone sat, she smiled at the person she was now standing in front of. “Hey do you want to do a duet with me?! Come on, its so fun!”
aphotic eyes watch the crowds , he was with clay a moment ago before both parted ways. this isn’t the first time he’s been to the lodge lodge. and he didn’t think he’d be here again , but the party felt like a good opportunity to obtain information -- especially with a particular hostess submerging from the cracks. working for the lodges at one point , he is well aware that anything that hermosa says or does shouldn’t be taken at face value. needing to be aware of his surroundings , he was sure to minimize his alcohol intake. but he wore the softest of smiles when he watched tabitha singing her heart out and it brought him back to how far his friend has come. and although tipsy , she’d rarely hop up on stage surrounded by their peers. a laugh escaped as she ushered him to sing with her . he wasn’t a stranger to singing -- but in public ? that’s only happened maybe twice so far. “ alright , chica. what are we singing ? “
