Meelaniacs in the lore/concept is definitely commentary on corrupt organizations and the military, but I feel like there are also bits of colonization/the act of pillaging… I haven’t touched up on the lore in a little so I will have to go back and look over what was given to the public as of now, but I’ve always had that little buzz in my head… Which is why I designed Stocky pre-SaFel more adorning of a “non-Western” style I guess you could say. Maybe I am purely projecting, but shhhhhh…

Stocky is my all time favorite character in Meelaniacs it’s like not even a competition. I bought all Stocky-specific stickers from the shop. They should make it so that you're able to change the stickers that show up on the "I <3 [Character]" weapon so that people will see Stocky instead of Garbo when I whack them in the face

Do you interpret Arthur and Delilah's relationship as romantic or just close? Just curious:0 your ideas are really cool

In ichor blood, their relationship is just “close”—a better way to word it would be “professional”. They’re not exactly friends, but they are comfortable within each other's presence. As the show continued, their bond began to become more strained as each party became invested in their own work (finding a cure for Dandy with Delilah and finding ways to continue growing the company for Arthur) which soon enough also contributed to the shutdown of Gardenview.

However, with this being said, I have humored the idea of Arthur originally having a crush on Delilah in the early days of their partnership! It's not crazy yearning or anything, just a "wow she's really pretty and crazy intelligent..." type of thing. I imagine this crush faded as time went on due to Delilah becoming visibly disheveled and increasingly detached to those around her. If I did make their relationship romantic I fear everything would be 10x worse which I find quite hilarious. Also thank you for the compliments ♡ ! I'm really glad people like my ideas! I wish I talked about them sooner but alas c'est la vie.

Ichor blood was meant to explain what Ichor was, not where it comes from; describe the every day life of the toons after the shutdown and what life was like before the shutdown, and show what led to the shutdown and who the culprits were. As written in my notes, “it is NOT meant to have a destination. It is not meant to find the secrets about Ichor itself. All it is meant to do is explain. The ending will show that nothing has changed. What we already know that’s going on with the ichor extraction *is* the ending.”

Delilah and Arthur were the sole reason shit went south in general. Delilah was why everything got worse while Arthur is the reason nothing got fixed.

Essssssssentially what was the “beginning of the end” for Delilah was making Dandy, AKA the literal first toon. There are two types of ichor, “corrupted” and “pure”. Pure ichor is essentially magical ink. Corrupted ichor, which contains crazy high levels of lead (Pb), is the evil and fucked up version of pure ichor. It’s the reason why Twisteds exist, basically. Delilah made Dandy out of corrupted ichor without knowing, but at the time she realized her mistake, she got far too attached to him. The smart and safest thing to do would to remake him from scratch with the pure ichor and destroy what currently exists, but she would genuinely rather die than do that. Thats her baby :(

So instead, she devised a plan to cure him. It was an impossible task, she knew this, but she was desperate to keep the current Dandy alive. It’s like trying to cure a human by removing all of their blood. Dandy’s existence depends on the high amounts of lead in his system. The plan was futile from the start.

The “beginning of the end” for Arthur was. Honestly? Teaming up with Delilah. Delilah in this AU has had a track record of being debilitatingly obsessive with the projects she indulges in. Her dedication is what has gained her such a reputation of both respect and concern, and Arthur wanted some of the undying passion in his work. GardenView’s work.

The continuous nailing of the coffin with the inevitable doomed-ness that GardenView harbored in regards to Arthur was his astounding ability to turn a blinds eye towards anything that’s a cause for concern. Dandy’s stressed as hell? C’mon, Dandy! Bring a smile and let’s move on! Artists are exhausted because of the amount of work they have to do? Been there, done that! Let’s keep doing what we do best! Delilah is so in depth with her own personal project that’s for Dandy that she ignores her coworkers, employees, the toons, guests, and other beings of life to be able to spend more time to cure her favorite project? Ahhhhh, pat her on the back and congratulate her on the dedication!

Arthur and Delilah is a matchmake in hell.

There’s. Like. A LOT more with them. Like how their existence and relationship changes within different “eras” from the Founding of Gardenview, Pre-Dandy’s World (I named the show Dandy’s World because on god what else would it be named), Early Pre-Shutdown, Millennial Era (1998-2002), and Post-Shutdown. Also their relationship with Dandy and Dyle. But that is. For another day. Maybe. Goodnight.

Hello my gang !

This post is an info dump on future posts (regarding Dandy’s World and whatnot) and general doodles of my OCs

With the current state of Dandy’s World regarding the company that owns it as well as the developer Qwel and the allegations against her, I am unsure if I’m going to post more in the future due to it all (she still has not said anything regarding the allegations and it has been at least a week! so!)

I still have a lot of love for the content I’ve made for it as well as the characters and the lore I’ve stubbornly kept to myself! I also have lots of WIPs, doodles, and finished art both in my drafts and in my position in general, so maybe I will post about them since I already have sooooooo much of them. Depends on my mood though.

As for normal life au, I’m probably still going to post some things about it but OC-ify them even more (I already have oc-ified them to hell and back. It truly is up to me and my lazy ass to post the doodles I have). They’ll also be strictly under the Normal Life AU tag.

As for posts not regarding Dandy’s World, I’m probably going to post miscellaneous interests I have like DELTARUNE (🥹🥹🥹🥹 chp5 came out and I’m foaming at the mouth with the contents in it 🥹🥹🥹), Monster High, YTTD, maybe some MOTM, probably some other things I’ve drawn… I don’t know. It will depend on the day… but hopefully I’ll also talk more about my OCs because I also plan on drawing them a lot more than I have

Anywayyyy the OCs I’ve been posting will be under the hashtag Rockstars (placeholder name). Will I talk about their lore….? Hopefully! (Not even vague-posting bro I just suck at committing 💔)

It has been stupid hot as of late and I have been imagining swimming in the water to cool myself off (I have not done it at all because I do not like swimming), so I've been projecting onto Dandy's World characters--specifically the version of them where I make them fully into humans and they do whatever my dumb little brain makes them do. This time they are on a beach vacation paid by Finn (because it's funny to me that he's just stupid rich in this setting) and they are all enjoying their time so very much because they are friends !!

"Why are there no drawings of the mains" in my head the mains are either famous or busy with work in one way or another so none of them could go. Sprout on the other hand had the time, he just didn't go because Cosmo declined. Also no holiday toons-- they are quite busy as well... Will I talk about their and other toons perceived occupations in my head for Normal Life AU? Perhaps. For the time being, you get more doodles.
