This is random, but what do you think the spices situation would look like?
Spices like for food? I can't imagine it's great, but I have no scientific knowledge to back up this claim. Maybe the jungle has some variety. What do you think??

CRUCIAL QUESTION!! Do underlanders have last names?? I’m writing a fanfiction and trying to have Gregor call Luxa by her first and last name and it’s like…what even would it be? We’ve got ol’ Bartholomew of Sandwich which isn’t a real last name. We’ve got Dr. Neveeve, but they call her Neveeve regularly, so it seems like that’s her first name. I know Gregor and family notoriously also are last name-less but they presumably have one. Does Luxa??
I have ALWAYS WONDERED ABOUT THIS!!!
I guess my personal headcanon is that they don't have last names, and they're a small enough population that no one has the same first name at the same time. (Seems unlikely considering almost everyone's choosing Shakespeare names but possible?)
I think a lot of fans operate under the same assumption and just refer to the Regalians as ______ of Regalia. Like I see a lot of people tag Luxa posts with "Luxa of Regalia."
HOWEVER it seems like they definitely Should have last names. Seeing as how the crown is passed through families, it would be important to mark yourself as part of a lineage. Plus when humans first came down to the Underland they would've had last names too.
Very good question and I'm interested in hearing everyone else's headcanons!

Just wanted to say I’m sooo so happy to have found your podcast as im undergoing a reread as an adult! This series is soo criminally underrated and never talked about, and seeing that y’all are still active brings me so much joy. Happy to read and analyze alongside y’all! Thank you for providing my inner 10 year olds’ dream of having extra content, though I’ll still be begging the universe for a cartoon adaptation to eventually be made (a girl can dream, right??)
