I dreamt of reading my childhood best friend’s journal, I dreamt of fire and being able to sit in it without repercussions, I dreamt that I was at a funeral and each time I looked in the casket it was a different body. I woke up and kept my eyes closed while I isolated each noise I was hearing. Water running, dog barking, two ravens on my balcony, someone laughing in the hallway. It’s June 1st and I feel like I want to begin again. I wrote down this morning “where has my love and talent for languages gone?”. So I wrote good morning in the 11 languages I could think of.
