Because you block people for challenging your views. Now answer my question.
I block ignorant, hateful people. You don't want to be blocked? You want to keep lurking on my page? You're a fan.
You said you promote Shia/Sunni unity? You do realize a lot of shias a twelvers, right? Meaning, they believe that their 12 imams are gods. You must be ignorant of Islam to say they should unite.
Why are you so scared to respond to my tweet that you have to go on here and be anonymous?
What motivates you to read your prayers, can you help with a little motivation on how to fullfill my prayers and what I should remember when its time to prayer, and something I should remember or say? JazakAllah khair in advance, may Allah have blessings and mercy upon you.
I definitely struggle like many do. I absolutely love the feeling after I pray. There is never a prayer where I get done, and I feel empty. So I like to remind myself of that. I also recommend you watch this serieshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL284A62D2C1955F4DIt is truly amazing and makes you have a new found appreciation for salah.
Salam, and MashAllah on your beautiful transition into Islam and your recent wedding! I follow you on multiple social medias and I just wanted to let you know as a non Muslim how beautiful I think your lifestyle is and that you have become a role model of mine. Jazakhalakhair for the wonderful example you set for our generation.
salaam and thank you so much :) that makes me so happy and that's exactly why I love to share my experiences. I wish and pray for you nothing but the best!
Can you list the make-up products you use to prevent smearing while performing wudu ? Thanks in advance xx
I use urban decay all nighter setting spray. The permissibility of wudu with foundation on or mascara for example, I do not know. One can argue makeup isn't permissible in public in general. Just stating that before people flip out. Lol
Alhamdulillah for those "unanswered" duas. Those things we asked for that we never got, because Allah had something better in store. Never lose faith and patience in His plan.
Are you Sunni or Shia?
Sunni
Didn't the wudu mess up ur makeup????
Yeah use waterproof mascara and a good setting spray.
Please make dua for the 16 year old girl who got kidnapped in Manchester. May Allah swt protect her and may she be found unharmed. Ameen x
Ameen :(
Salam! What do I say in istikhara if I want to know if that person is going to be in my future? Like what exactly do you say?
https://makkah.files.wordpress.com/2006/12/step-by-step-instructions-for-praying-salat-istikhara-small-print-v2a.pdfThis is an awesome link!
Do you do wudu before every prayer? Or just for fajr so you can keep your eyeliner/makeup on? Genuine question bc I wear makeup too wondering how my fellow hijabis perform wudu with makeup.
No I perform wudu before every prayer (unless I'm able to maintain my wudu from asr to maghreb for example). Even if I have makeup on lol.
Salam Alaykum. How did you start wear the hijab full time? Did you practice only sometimes in public, I am worried about my parents reactions. I wasn't born/raised Muslim, I actually reverted in 2013 but I'm just now really getting a lot more into Islam again. They were initially against but now my mom makes recipes w beef instead of pork:) I know my husband would support any decision I make I am just afraid! Thank for help girl. May allah reward you.
Hi love! I wrote a bit about it here: http://revertrants.tumblr.com/post/126317625416/my-hijab-storyInshAllah you gain the strength, May Allah make it easy on you.
How did you learn to pray? By online tutorials or through a book with pictures and instructions? I've been wanting to get closer to Allah swt, but I'm having trouble learning how & I'm embarrassed to ask my in laws.
You can find videos on youtube or even children's books! I would write each aspect of prayer on a notecard and memorize it one by one. For example, I first memorized Surah al fatihah, and then I memorized a short Surah (Surah ikhlas) and then you memorize "subhana rabbiyal a'la" and "subhana rabbiyal adheem" etc etc in whatever order is easiest for you! Once I memorized every saying, it was much easier to memorize the movements. I would also put instructions in my own words in front of me to help me pray in the beginning. And don't be shy to ask questions. We have to ask others questions throughout the process to make sure we are doing it correctly. I went through he entire process with my husband once I felt I had learned it, to make sure I did it properly.
Do you pray with a turbah on your prayer mat?
No.
salam :) hope you are doing. So I've been with this guy for almost 4 years and his dad wont accept me in his family more like allow his son to marry of his own choice. I've prayed istekhara and I've prayed tahhajud but lately nothing seems to be working for us and financially he's been doing bad in business which is causing a dispute within the family as well. at this point i can no longer take anything and I'm severally depressed. any advice for a sister :(
You need to speak to your local imam love. He can also speak to his parents :)
