Enrapture me oh Hope!!!
Its late.
In the dark shadows I sit. The vibrational levels that are abounding in the daytime aren't so much in the night time. Very peaceful. And people wonder why it is I love the darkness, night, and the moon so much. When it comes to enlightenment, isn't the flame hidden in the darkness? A cloud of illusion? Penetrate the darkness and find a flame that no man can make or give you. There is a spark within each and every one of us that interconnects us because it is pure divinity. We use magick to uncover this, and finally become gods. Although its really just a realization. As it says in Genesis, man will become as gods, knowing good and evil. That we do friends, that we do.

Looking unto Binah
It is said in the Hermetic Qabalah, that Malkuth ever looks toward Binah. What that has meant for me when it came to meditation on this thought is that yes, We do. Binah's vision is the vision of Sorrow. Look at the world. We are ever looking to Binah's Sorrow. But it can be a holy sorrow. The darkness and bleakness that one sees can be but a stepping stone to understanding, which is what Binah means in Hebrew. I'm sure there are deeper esoteric meanings to this, but this is what I get from it. :)

Ave Satanas!

The key to any good occult magickal practice is balance. We see the name YHShVH (Yehoshua, Jesus) in the first pentacle, with the names Adam and Eve with Shin being the crown of man. The pentacle being "rightside up" shows Spirit ruling over the elements. This is considered the "good" pentagram. The other one is reversed, or the obverse of the elements being ruled by matter. The Goat represents Satan or Baphomet and uses the name Leviathan around the circle. This is the god of Chaos and the Chaotic Waters. The The pentagram is considered "evil" because of this. Matter does have its place in the universe, and it is my understanding we are not to fear it. Spirit will be within the matter in this case. It is still in the picture, just in a different way. It also has the names Samael or Lilith, considered to be more nefarious beings. Misunderstood I'm sure. Lilith, also ties in with Adam on the first Pentacle, as being the "first wife". What does all this mean? They are symbols for different states. One is light. The other, dark. We need both to be holistic beings.
