See, this one is a weird one because Monomoko only has 10 sprites but i really dig the idea of her changing more and more with each death through the games and wanted to showcase the full scope of that despite my own "no late TDB stuff" rule, so counting all variants she has like 110 sprites.

As always, these are free to use for whatever and i very much encourage it as long as it's not NSFW content or fed to AI.

All sprites can also be accessed through this masterfolder, which aside from the sprites has a collection of doodles I've been sharing on a friend's discord (AKA, the white void au) as i complete these and a bunch of Wip images.

As a reminder, Monomoko is the ONLY person associated with the masterminds who are getting done, the other heads are condemned to AI hell where they deserve. A lot of people knew Monomoko was on the tables but they thought she would be the very last one done but nope, she's done now. This is probably because Carol is very much on the Ihsusta hype train now for understandable reasons and as well as Tei, Monomoko is connected to Ihsusta due to being her "creator" so to speak.

See when Carol was brainstorming ideas for Monomoko, she came up with how after every death Monomoko would change shape with in Pink her fur going from white to black and in Blue her fur going from Black to Red with her leaked White design being less rabbit and more eldritch horror which given that Monomoko is very much a eldritch entity, fits. Since Carol is a sucker for monster designs, her original draft design for Monomoko was gonna be some rabbit/deer fusion in terms of design which would be deeply unsettling but in a good way. However, then came the decision to unperson White entirely, and while Carol has spoken to people who don't want White to be remembered about her Monomoko design and they did greenlight it, she still didn't feel right about it so it got scrapped and so Monomoko went from a rabbit/deer hybrid to a jackalope in terms of design. She also has the most sprites even though Monomoko doesn't have a lot of expressions since the progression throughout Pink would be her fur gets darker and she starts growing blood red antlers and then in Blue, red bloodveins appear on Monomoko's body.

//Overall Monomoko came looking nice as she's still bunny coded but also looks deeply unsettling and uncanny which was purposeful given what Monomoko is, and this means she's before Maekawa, the irony there is not lost on me. Monomoko would probably be the last one this month as I THINK and don't quote me on this, but Carol is doing 2 characters per month and since TECHNICALLY Tei and Monomoko are linked here you have this. Also this is the only time the not acknowledging Cursed Chapters is broken since we have what Monomoko looks like for the Cursed Chapters but again, she doesn't have many expressions so it makes sense. Unfortunately since my form was taking a while to adjust and it was not for human minds to handle I did have to delay my appearance until now.

No. My...employers are not here since their contract was terminated and they were left to rot in the Plane. I had to spend all of this time cleaning my residence out of corpses, especially since they resorted to cannibalism.

Seriously? Why did they do that, rather then terminate their contract?

Dr. Yonekura showed that she displayed more care for seeing her experiments through then preserving her own life and she paid the price for it.

So just to clarify, you DID fix Tei's eyes...did you?

I did yes. I took Atsushi Tei to the plane in order to operate on his eyes and remove a deliberating condition that would have inhibited his performance in the Killing Game. I kept him away from my employers as they wished to...experiment on him due to his unique abilities.

...Why does that sound so frightening?

Reminds me of the time I was "experimented" on as well...thankfully I have no memory of that experience.

And after what Dr. Toranosuke did to you, you are better off not knowing any more Mai Hayashi.

I should also confess that while the operation on Atsushi Tei did go off without any complications to him, it did have one...side effect.

The bio material I taken was left discarded in the plane and it...formed into a construct and gained sentience.

Other than this usual blabbering for these kinds of posts i do have some important things to say in regards to the remaining 6 characters under the cut.

Last time i mentioned i was going to take a break from sprites and general tetro stuff because i was very much tired of working on these, but even right now I don't think i will go back to the same speed i was moving back in january, so I can't really say I'm "back" at last not entirely.

I say this because unless my urge™ rages on and i keep going i feel like what's most likely to happen is that I'll get the rest of the characters out sporadically, maybe try getting one out per month because that seems pretty doable for me at the moment.

All this is to say to just check the folder for updates rather than sending me asks about it👍 (tho this isn't meant to discourage anyone from sending asks in general)

//Well the hiatus was a lot shorter then I thought, no for real I was expecting it to be like October before Carol came back but well she's back, and while not doing them on mass like last time, we are getting them slow and steady and to celebrate the return is a Survivor who needs no introduction as he's quite a infamous Blue survivor but not for the right reasons; Tei!

//So Tei being the first of the new batch doesn't surprise me given how much of a meme the guy has become in the Askblog Discord, which is partly my fault due to being the catalyst which spurred his Shadow self Ihsusta, but regardless everyone's least favourite Ikeda apologist and overworked retail worker, Tei is here. Now Tei is another one where he's kept very similar to how he looks in canon but I will explain a few of the obvious changes. The first is his manfailure of a beard. This is because we headcanon similar to why Ojima has ache, due to how overworked Tei is, he is not gonna have time to practise good hygiene so he's getting a pissy goatie. Not even the good and badarse kind, just some strands of hair to show how overwhelmed he is. The other is his black spike. Again, another headcanon is that Tei's hair isn't naturally pink, its black, and Tei chooses to dye it pink, but again with how much he needs to work, he doesn't have time to dye it probably so you get this disaster here. Its why Ihsusta has black hair with pink bits in it, she IS Tei's Shadow after all, so it makes sense for their hair to be polar opposites.

//He has the cafe outfit because where we hear from the terminals he works in, its the cafe, and cute bows since it works with the asethetic and just mask how much boiling rage Tei has. Speaking of the sprites as a reminder since its being a hot while, when Carol makes the sprites, everything up to Connect and Rekindle is canon, and everything afterwards is not. So if you are expending the 31+ blood soaken sprites of Tei, then no they aren't here and go away.

//Anyway Creeper's absolute favourite character of all time is here, and now we get to hear him making a million excuses for Ikeda's bad behaviour and just generally being the worst. Enjoy~

FOR REAL THIS TIME!!!! Be glad i went the extra mile to give Tei Atsushi a whopping 61 sprites. Anyway, these are free to use for whatever and i very much encourage it as long as it's not NSFW content or fed to AI.

All sprites can also be accessed through this masterfolder, which aside from the sprites has a collection of doodles I've been sharing on a friend's discord (AKA, the White void Au) as i complete these and a bunch of Wip images.

Other than this usual blabbering for these kinds of posts i do have some important things to say in regards to the remaining 6 characters under the cut.

Last time i mentioned i was going to take a break from sprites and general tetro stuff because i was very much tired of working on these, but even right now I don't think i will go back to the same speed i was moving back in january, so I can't really say I'm "back" at last not entirely.

I say this because unless my urge™ rages on and i keep going i feel like what's most likely to happen is that I'll get the rest of the characters out sporadically, maybe try getting one out per month because that seems pretty doable for me at the moment.

//Well the hiatus was a lot shorter then I thought, no for real I was expecting it to be like October before Carol came back but well she's back, and while not doing them on mass like last time, we are getting them slow and steady and to celebrate the return is a Survivor who needs no introduction as he's quite a infamous Blue survivor but not for the right reasons; Tei!

//So Tei being the first of the new batch doesn't surprise me given how much of a meme the guy has become in the Askblog Discord, which is partly my fault due to being the catalyst which spurred his Shadow self Ihsusta, but regardless everyone's least favourite Ikeda apologist and overworked retail worker, Tei is here. Now Tei is another one where he's kept very similar to how he looks in canon but I will explain a few of the obvious changes. The first is his manfailure of a beard. This is because we headcanon similar to why Ojima has ache, due to how overworked Tei is, he is not gonna have time to practise good hygiene so he's getting a pissy goatie. Not even the good and badarse kind, just some strands of hair to show how overwhelmed he is. The other is his black spike. Again, another headcanon is that Tei's hair isn't naturally pink, its black, and Tei chooses to dye it pink, but again with how much he needs to work, he doesn't have time to dye it probably so you get this disaster here. Its why Ihsusta has black hair with pink bits in it, she IS Tei's Shadow after all, so it makes sense for their hair to be polar opposites.

//He has the cafe outfit because where we hear from the terminals he works in, its the cafe, and cute bows since it works with the asethetic and just mask how much boiling rage Tei has. Speaking of the sprites as a reminder since its being a hot while, when Carol makes the sprites, everything up to Connect and Rekindle is canon, and everything afterwards is not. So if you are expending the 31+ blood soaken sprites of Tei, then no they aren't here and go away.

No that i am finally done with Kumada i am going to take a long break from doing anything Tetro related, that means no more spites, no White void, probably not even random art. THIS IS A HIATUS. I am not done with the spite project and i do fully intent on finishing the remaining characters later down the line, it's just that now i feel like i reached the point where I'm absolutely exhausted and can't keep pushing myself to work in these.

I always knew this would happen at some point, it's kida just how my interests go; i lock onto something for a while and then spend a while away from it to come back eventually whenever that circles back into my mind, I can't keep pushing self to work on these when i genuinely don't feel like it, it just ends up taking ages to get through a single gallery when y'all know very well that on full motivation i can get one out much MUCH quicker.

I was not exaggerating in the slightest when i said that Isoda's gallery was the most fun i had working on tetro stuff basically the whole month, which is why i got through their gallery super quick as opposed to both Sou and Erina, both which took almost a month to be done, i hated working on them, and I'm honestly not even happy with the results on either's gallery but at this point I'm just glad to be done with them.

And also surprise Isoda which yeah I will cover them when I cover them.

Now when I was showing Carol the designs for the various Bluedents, I mentioned how Yaitabashi would be difficult to do because Carol has openly admitted she isn't the best with dresses and well...Yaitabashi wearing a dress is a key part of his character, so she can't not do it but she found a solution and to the surprise of no one, she turned to one of her current hyperfixications for inspiration...Umamusume and used the dress of one of the characters from there so she can do it right plus said dress has a petal shape design which goes well with Yaitabashi's look. He also has gardening gloves which given he manages plants a lot makes sense, some plants like roses have thorns after all. He also has some muscle on him due to this as due to all the gardening he does, he's a lot physically tougher then he seems. And furthermore we cannot forget about Yaitabashi's blindness, which not only means Yaitabashi is always looking to the side as that's how he sees but he's also got whited irises to show that he is mostly blind which is a common drawing technique to show blindness in a character. Overall the Trial Beast has been brought to life in a brilliant way and he's still recognizable but has more style to him then his AI slop counterpart.

//Kumada is next and even though Carol admits she's not a fan of Kumada, which to be fair is understandable she's a VERY polarizing character, that's actually good as Carol said its better to be hated by her then for her to be indifferent since the hate means she can do something, which is why we have a joke variant of Tei because she does not like that man one bit, has come out looking amazing. For one the splashes of paint on her design now come off as pretty technocolour eye shadow. In addition there's another Kumada redesign which is very popular in the Askblog Discord and something that Carol did take inspiration from in her design. The spikes also look amazing as not only does it sell the delinquent look on Kumada, but it really fits her personality as Kumada is extremely aggressive and always on the offensive, but she has a sweet side inside that she doesn't like sharing often. In addition Kumada's bat exists unlike in Tetro and Kumada can and will use the bat when she's attacking people, and there's a lot of mad Kumada sprites which given the amount of arguments she's had is very fitting. Pink and Blue is also fitting since they are the two colours not only tied with Danganronpa, but also the two titles of Tetro so yeah overall the Spice Trio is all finished and they look very nice.

//...That being said we cannot forget about the surprise Shadowdrop that is Mion Isoda. Yeah Carol gave ZERO warning and dropped Isoda because she wanted them to be a surprise. So let's talk about the rabbit in the room, the deer skull. See when Carol was getting ideas for Isoda, one person in the server really really wanted Isoda to keep their deer skull design on their t-shirt as they really liked it. Furthermore one paradox is that Isoda is a celebrity in the Tetro world yet not many people recognize them, but then you have to remember they are a Uitate and within the culture, its common for people to hide their identity behind a mask and something that Carol once again took inspiration from another thing she likes; Beastars as Paru Itagaki whenever she appears in public, wears a chicken mask, so as a result Carol gave Isoda a deer skull that they wear so many people do not recognize their face due to this deer skull mask being there. There is sprites when its off and they only do this around people they completely trust; so basically Ninomiya, Hirose and Denden and that's it, other then in Chapter 2 when the mask comes off due having to be treated due to Kumada bashing them with her bat, yeah no stabbing this time, we are keeping it consistent. Plus I think its very fitting that Isoda just had their sprites done in the background with little warning and with that we have another survivor knocked off. We only have Denden, Tei and Hirose left on that front! The Deer skull does have expressions to it so its kinda like Mikado's mask in that front and I LOVE the eye colours in Isoda, it fits the character so much.

//But with that we have over half of the Blue cast done before Carol goes on her break and ALL the bases for the cast done so when in 6000 years she comes back, they can be all knocked off. I hope you guys can understand this and it will take a while for Carol to come back to finish the project. I am pleased with the progress she's made and with that I bid you farewell for now~

By now I'm sure everyone is already well acquainted with Sou's gallery of 63 sprites total (And Isoda's, breaking into the post with their whooping 102 sprites) but now, at last, y'all can finally look at Kumada's 55 sprites! Hooray!!!

No that i am finally done with Kumada i am going to take a long break from doing anything Tetro related, that means no more spites, no White void, probably not even random art. THIS IS A HIATUS. I am not done with the spite project and i do fully intent on finishing the remaining characters later down the line, it's just that now i feel like i reached the point where I'm absolutely exhausted and can't keep pushing myself to work in these.

I always knew this would happen at some point, it's kida just how my interests go; i lock onto something for a while and then spend a while away from it to come back eventually whenever that circles back into my mind, I can't keep pushing self to work on these when i genuinely don't feel like it, it just ends up taking ages to get through a single gallery when y'all know very well that on full motivation i can get one out much MUCH quicker.

I was not exaggerating in the slightest when i said that Isoda's gallery was the most fun i had working on tetro stuff basically the whole month, which is why i got through their gallery super quick as opposed to both Sou and Erina, both which took almost a month to be done, i hated working on them, and I'm honestly not even happy with the results on either's gallery but at this point I'm just glad to be done with them.

Now when I was showing Carol the designs for the various Bluedents, I mentioned how Yaitabashi would be difficult to do because Carol has openly admitted she isn't the best with dresses and well...Yaitabashi wearing a dress is a key part of his character, so she can't not do it but she found a solution and to the surprise of no one, she turned to one of her current hyperfixications for inspiration...Umamusume and used the dress of one of the characters from there so she can do it right plus said dress has a petal shape design which goes well with Yaitabashi's look. He also has gardening gloves which given he manages plants a lot makes sense, some plants like roses have thorns after all. He also has some muscle on him due to this as due to all the gardening he does, he's a lot physically tougher then he seems. And furthermore we cannot forget about Yaitabashi's blindness, which not only means Yaitabashi is always looking to the side as that's how he sees but he's also got whited irises to show that he is mostly blind which is a common drawing technique to show blindness in a character. Overall the Trial Beast has been brought to life in a brilliant way and he's still recognizable but has more style to him then his AI slop counterpart.

//Kumada is next and even though Carol admits she's not a fan of Kumada, which to be fair is understandable she's a VERY polarizing character, that's actually good as Carol said its better to be hated by her then for her to be indifferent since the hate means she can do something, which is why we have a joke variant of Tei because she does not like that man one bit, has come out looking amazing. For one the splashes of paint on her design now come off as pretty technocolour eye shadow. In addition there's another Kumada redesign which is very popular in the Askblog Discord and something that Carol did take inspiration from in her design. The spikes also look amazing as not only does it sell the delinquent look on Kumada, but it really fits her personality as Kumada is extremely aggressive and always on the offensive, but she has a sweet side inside that she doesn't like sharing often. In addition Kumada's bat exists unlike in Tetro and Kumada can and will use the bat when she's attacking people, and there's a lot of mad Kumada sprites which given the amount of arguments she's had is very fitting. Pink and Blue is also fitting since they are the two colours not only tied with Danganronpa, but also the two titles of Tetro so yeah overall the Spice Trio is all finished and they look very nice.

First things first, no, I did not speedrun writing ALL the contents of my initial ask down with zero thoughts in my head the second the arc ended, that's not how I write ANY of my critic pieces. When I decide to make one of these I write down my concerns as the arc is happening and constantly go back to them through its progression, editing, cutting, expanding things around based on any changing opinions as the story progresses, only after it ends I make a final draft to send in, which given the length of the arc in question, didn't take that much time. Second, I explicitly said that I didn't think ANY of the storylines on their own were done badly, my issue was with how the arc was structured in regards to its main theme. I literally said I ENJOYED the scenes! My issue was all these elements being put together in a single package when I felt some would have been better in their own bigger arcs, the Mikado storyline, and how I wished the namesake of the whole thing was more prevalent throughout.

I called it the worst arc thus far because everything has its best and worst aspects, being the worst doesn't immediately equal being an affront to all fiction that should be avoided like the plague, it simply means that comparatively to other parts of a story, it's not as nicely done. I made it clear from the very start of my initial ask that my problem with the arc was its organization, quote; “Not necessarily because what happened in it was bad, but instead it's an issue of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.”, and I proceeded to talk about how that was my main issue throughout the entire thing. If my lack of going on about what I did enjoy gave the wrong impression, I am sorry. The thing is that this was never meant to be a full review because I don't do those anymore, it was a piece of criticism on what I felt was an issue, like basically all other asks I've sent in this blog because my intention is to point out flaws, hence why that was what I talked about.

With all that said, to the mod; I am sorry if what I did say in my original ask, or in the second, or in this one, hurt you. It was not meant to be any sort of personal attack nor do I think The dead future was horrible, I don't think it scales even close to the worst arcs of other askblogs here. I don't hold back when I make these because you don't either when criticizing something and I always found that admirable, your written pieces are what inspired me to try sending my own thoughts in the first place, but if I missed the mark or if it would be better to refrain from doing such anymore make sure to let me know.

//I am open to constructive criticism because its the only way I can improve as a writer, believe me I know what people who respond negatively to criticism are like and let's just say their writing is going to be left a lot to be desired to put it mildly.

//The general gist of A Dead Future really is like the Void Juice plotline; writing wise it was solid and people enjoyed it, but when you consider when it happened, the timing was piss poor and worse it detracted away from the main themes. Fortunately since next arc not to give too much away but a major theme of the next major story arc will be The New Future cast starting to form memories and start doing whatever they want to do before the reboot happens.

//And Mikado going out the way he did also worked because I'm noticing that people are starting to get tired of him being a villain all the time, with some people saying they even take Kanade having a chance to shine then Mikado doing shit again. So as a result I am going to tone down how many times Mikado is gonna be a menace and in universe it would make sense, after a very bad Mikado, Review Anon went for one of her big guns in order to stamp out any future Mikado incursions for good. Whenever or not it sticks remains to be seen, but it does seem the incidents involving them will be reduced.

//And besides you probably want someone else being horrible. Maybe not Kanade but some other villain having the spotlight.
