Ah yes, who could forget how the Miraculous creator utterly refused to give Chloe a character arc even tho it was RIGHT THERE and so many fans wanted it out of just how much he despised the character and so he went on to make her a sister character that's literally just Chloe but nicer and completely remove the original from the story

//Oh boy time to talk about Astruc and how he's part of the problem of the toxicity in the MLB Fandom.

//Now as a disclaimer; I've not seen the show and to be honest given the horror stories people have told me; I'm put right off it.

//So these are all second hand accounts from them but if you want the deets under the cut we go;

//Astruc is the creator of Miraculous Ladybug and when I say he's like LINUJ if LINUJ was French, I wasn't even joking. However I argue that Astruc is worse then LINUJ by a magnitude for a few reasons. Firstly as Carol pointed out, while we criticise LINUJ for how he's treated characters like Kizuna and Hibiki, he does at the very least acknowledge that those two have the potential to develop and improve as people. It didn't happen in the story, but at the very least he did say it could happen. He also stated that Void would have not become evil had Mikado not contacted Nikei and co.

//Most importantly though; while I do lean into the fact that LINUJ might not be happy about how fans view certain characters, at the very least he does allow people to have their own opinions of them, they might not be what he agrees with, but at the very least he allows them to exist. LINUJ does acknowledge that his worldview isn't conventional and doesn't expect people to understand him. I CANNOT say the same for Astruc who we have actual physical evidence of him going out of his way to spite people.

//The meat and potatos of the discourse is a character named Chloe Bourgeois, who is basically your stereotypical Alpha Bitch within a school setting. You've seen her type before so I'm not gonna go into too much detail but there was more to her then just that as its clear she has a troubled home life since her mother was a drunk alchohic who abused her and her father was an enabler. But despite this she is a superhero as she's Queen Bee and she does assist Marinette and Adrien with protecting Paris from evil.

//The first 2 seasons again from what others told me were good and Season 3 looked like Chloe was getting a redemption arc...only for it be brutally ripped away from her at the last second and when Astruc was asked about he said with the most shit eating grin ever that it wasn't a redemption arc, it was a punishment arc and bullies like her don't deserve to get a second chance. Even though the main villain, who almost caused literal WWIII, was painted as sympathetic despite all the horrible crimes he did.

//Astruc would harass and bully anyone who disagreed with him, and even in interviews he's obnoxious as when asked if Season 3 would be darker, his literal response is to turn down the brightness of the TV. Which not only doesn't answer the question but also is extremely rude to say. He also says things on Twitter which is more proof that site was a mistake to create and why he shouldn't be on the site.

//Its to the point the people who told me this are convinced that Astruc based Chloe of his own irl school bullies, and oh as Carol also pointed out, he created Zoe, Chloe's half sister who is basically her but nice just so that Chloe can lose her superhuman powers, get disowned by her father and be sent back to live with her abusive mother and we are meant to think this was a just punishment.

//MLB is toxic not just because of its fanbase but it also has a odious creator. In a way that show was never gonna have a normal fandom, and you got to feel sorry for the characters. At least while the Another cast recieve hell from LINUJ, they can take comfort in the fact the fans do treat them with the respect they deserve, but MLB characters are just blasted on both fronts.

//All I say is be grateful Danganronpa doesn't sink to these lows.

Poi i've been having a blast with this last scene, gigging and smiling evilly with Bashira's respulsed reaction to the idea of Ayame having a kid with Kizuna + "If you had a kid it would run away from you" (Honestly? Base/canon Kizuna would definitelly be a shit mom, -2+2 Kizuna is an exeption and not the rule, but i found it hilarious nonetheless)

So here's Bashira and Akira and a completely intentional design choice, i love adding small stuff like this to things

//Yeah I honestly had fun writing canon!Kizuna getting her comeuppance but yeah, I can't get imagine Kizuna being a good mom at all in terms of canon honestly and she would need to get some hits upside to the head (or literally being smash around like a ragdoll) to make her grow up and become a better person.

//Also yes, that is so perfect! I love it, Bashira is questioning her daughter's choice in partners but she love her grandkids. ^^

*Soon enough, the machines around the medbay are left in shambles, with debris and medical equipment scattered everywhere.*

*In a moment of silence, Hero turns around, remembering what else was inside the room, He yells in a distorted manner-*

*Before cutting himseld short, his ears perking up and eyes widening.*

*Insead of searching for the doctors, he instead storms out of the room and takes a look at the chaos outside. Watching as the Pegasus cloth repeatedly stomps Nikei into the ground..

*His eyes narrow once more, huffing for an instant before launching himself towards the armour, Grabbing it by one of its wings and slamming it's body onto the floor with enough strength to leave a dent*

*With a foot on the floor for balance, he places the other on the armour's cheat plate and begins applying strength onto it to keep the cloth down while pulling on the wing with a firm grip, attempting to rip it appart from the body*

*The sound of smashing and crashing as Hero destroys all the medical equipment available can be heard across the entire medbay.

(He's REALLY going at it....Dr. Robotnik, what did you do?)

*All the large machinery has been destroyed in Medbay, but Hero remembers seeing 3 people in lab coats and some strange pink egg-like creature with them. While these people don't look like the good doctor, surely they must be work colleagues of Dr. Robotnik and must pay!*

Hero: DOCCCTOOORRRSSSS!

*Hero was about to start bashing down doors looking for any of the medbay staff but before he could do so...his sensitive ears pick up a sound...a sound of mechinical whining...and of his new friend crying out in pain. Did Dr. Robotnik send a Badnik to hurt Nikei? Due to this, Hero turns around and exits Medbay.

Kyoji having been the nearest to Hero and seeing him leave, nervously exits the room he was hiding in*

It...looks like the mutated Sonic has stopped attacking us, for now.

I wonder why that is but at the very least we can probably seal the medbay entrance shut and access the damage.

*Kyoji nervously follows the trial of destruction Hero has left behind in order to get the entrance door shut with the anti-penguin doors, which not even Hero would be able to bash open*

*Meanwhile the Pegasus Cloth has been stomping on Nikei repeatedly ever since it laid "eyes" on him, despite his repeated attempts to get the cloth off him. It hasn't relented on its assault on the journalist as its mad desire to purge any evil powers from this world ensures it will not stop until Nikei has been reduced to paste*

P-Please someone! Anyone! Get this thing off me! I-I cannot take it anymore!

OI! YOU STUPID ARMOUR! I AM GONNA BLOW UP THE VOIDSHIP!

*No response as the Pegasus Cloth ignores Kokichi and carries on stomping Nikei*

That was the most stupidest plan I ever seen, as its clear this isn't an intelligent being.

If a media isn't horror related, I don't consume it, and since whatever that armour comes from, its not a horror franchise I haven't got the foggiest idea what it is.

I'm more interested in seeing what wonderful chaos that EXE has done in Medbay~

*As seemingly in response to that, Hero exits the Medbay and it doesn't take him long to notice the scene of Nikei getting stomped repeatedly by the Pegasus Cloth, its hard to tell what expression Hero has but you could easily tell this scene was pissing him off big time*

S-speaking of him he's out now!

Oh is he now? Let's see what we got...

Oh that's interesting, he doesn't seem to have blood on him, which implies nobody has died yet, why is that?

Maybe he heard the commucation going on out here?

That's probably the reason as the EXE most likely heard Nikei getting beaten up by that armour and wanted to know what was going on.

*Hero's eyes narrowed with rage upon seeing what was going on, as this was just typical. He had cornered Dr. Robotnik's minions and they sent a Badnik to try and harm his friend, that will NOT be allowed! Without a moment's hesitation, Hero grabs hold of the Pegasus Cloth and yanks it off Nikei, slamming it into the ground*

I...cannot feel my...bones...

The stomping has seized...did that creature get off me? (Nikei weakily opens his eyes to a sight he wasn't expecting to see)

*Hero having got the Pegasus Cloth off Nikei, had now pinned it to the floor and was trying to use his strength to start tearing it apart, starting with the wings. The Pegasus Cloth was whining in protest and its legs were trying to kick Hero off it, struggling to get Hero off it, the Pegasus Cloth tries to get off from the ground in an attempt to gather enough speed to shoot Hero off it*

Hero? Did he...did he come back to save me?

Hey RA hand me your input; A while back i was thinking of what fates would Akira and Beni likely have in a hypothetical killing game and while I'm sure Akira wouldn't make it past chapter 3 (as she's both somewhat of a comic relief but also the type of hope beacon character that tries to keep groups together) neither me nor a friend that came into the discussion could settle on what would be most likely for Beni trope-wise, we honestly could see her being a survivor almost as likely as another victim or a killer (had Akira died prior)

So what do you think she would become? Not that I'd ever put them in a killing game, but it's interesting to think of these scenarios from time to time

//Yeah if Akira was in a Killing Game I would pin her as a Chapter 3 death since she has the same Ibuki vibes and well she was gonna be a "Shoo Out the Clowns" moment.

//Anyway Beni now this is interesting seeing as Kanata was a Chapter 3 victim and Koroko was a Chapter 2 victim, and both died due to being OP and making the murder game too easy so their deaths entered it into hard mode.

//However seeing as Beni is the type I could see to butt heads with a lot of people, especially in a high stakes enviroment like a killing game, I could see her coping poorly from the stress, probably have some outbursts to one or two characters. Sure, she's smart and can help solve the class trials but her lack of people skills means someone like the protagonist would be needed to rely her points across.

//Now her relationship with Akira would be interesting since most Killing Games have memory wipes occurring so there's a good chance Akira and Beni would lose their memories of meeting each other, but they might have a subconcious desire to be near each other (Danganronpa has shown time and time again, that while you can erase memories, you can never take away the feelings associated with said memories) And if they do bond and Akira croaks it before Beni, she WOULD react poorly and I would imagine her outbursts would get more and more frequent.

//My going is Beni is a Chapter 3 culpirt but its a double blackened scenario, so someone else killed Akira and then Beni found out and killed Akira's killer. If Beni lives or gets executed depends on da rules but if we go by first come first serve rules, then Beni will live and I don't think anyone would be against Beni for that since well Akira's killer was gonna be the typical shallow Chapter 3 arsehole.

//If you get confused basically Chapter 3 goes like this;

Evil Chapter 3 culprit kills Akira for *Insert shallow Chapter 3 culprit reasons*

Beni being away from Akira comes in and more or less catches the culprit doing it or is the first to come across Akira's body, connects the dots and figures out who the killer is before anyone else does.

Thus Beni forms her own murder scheme and gets the Evil Chapter 3 culprit so they die.

Their body is discovered and Deadly Life begins.

All this comes out in the Class Trial, and Beni's fate really depends on the rules as she could be spared and the dead body of Akira's killer is executed ala DRA Mikako style, or be executed.

If the former occurs, then Beni survives to the end as she learns to get back with the group and move forward.

//Yes Beni could have waited until the Class Trial, but maybe the culprit realises Beni is onto them and its either them or her, since she's not gonna be like Hiyoko, or maybe during said confrontation the culprit said something that enraged Beni and she decided to kill without thinking in the heat of the moment.

//This is of course assuming Beni and Akira bond regardless of the memory wipe. If they don't for some reason I still expect Beni to die since her lack of filter and trouble with her emotions is a dangerous combination to have in a Killing Game, so it was gonna lead to death either one way or another.

*There's no sign of supernatural powers but the lack of it doesn't make the sight any less terrifying. Hero is tearing through machine after machine like a rabid animal, biting, scraching, gnawing, tearing to pieces..*

Yes he's secured on there, n-now we just need to find somewhere good enough for him and o-one of us to hide in.

And I have some plans how to deal with the mutated Sonic creature should it come looking for me.

*Suddenly the barricade flies everywhere as the doors fly open and Hero screeches into the Medbay and his first target is...the x-ray machine as he desents upon it and starts tearing it apart*

W-wait, w-why is it gone for the x-ray machine?

If I have to guess...this confirms my theory that this mutated Sonic was experimented on, as its attacking machines I assume are associated with what Dr. Robotnik used.

That's not ideal but the penguins can fix that damage...

But soon its gonna run out of equipment to smash and then we will be on the list!

This is our best chance to go and hide somewhere while that Mutated Sonic is distracted!

*Kanata takes out a Pokeball and recalls Chansey* I will keep Chansey on me to defend myself if that Mutated Sonic comes for me.

I have my special measures if I get discovered, j-just trust me on this.

And I...better pray it doesn't find me.

*On that note all three doctors/nurses scattered and hid in different rooms in the medbay, with Mikan having the patient with her and hiding him as well*

As for this place, its the Voidship which is a ship located in the interdimensional Void, and all manners of things spawn in here.

I mean I wouldn't discount the idea that Tails is here but I sure haven't seen him.

As someone who actually still likes Kanade to an extent (mainly due to ond memories of roleplaying as a very ooc version of her with friends when i was younger) the part i dislike about her the most has to be Linuj saying that she is evil no matter what.

I think i hate the "Born evil" trope just as much as Bubbles hates Chapter 3s, it's just such a lame way to write vilains and almost always results in them being 2 dimensional hate sinks that would have been so much more enjoyable if they weren't written to be flat as a piece of cardboard. A quick example that comes to mind for me is Stella from Helluva boss where i genuinely feel like the Stolas family drama would have benefited immensely from her being an actual character and not just an all around stupid awful woman with no redeeming qualities that exists just to make the audience see him as nothing but the poor little guy in comparison.

And depending on the scenario is just flat out unrealistic since no one comes out of the womb being the spawn of satan, there's always something, be it their upbringing, something actually reasonable or small and petty, that makes someone start being a piece of shit. Kanade's awfulness could have been used as a way to show how abuse from a loved one twists and shaped the kind of person she became, but instead Linuj came in and went "Oh Kanade? Nah, she would be a bitchass yandere no matter what" and that's just really dissapointing.

//The best argument for someone to be born evil is that they have certain genes that makes them more malicious and evil. Of course in a normal setting this is unrealistic but in more fanastical setting its normally possessing corruptive elements or just not possessing any positive emotions whatsoever. Or the best one is someone who is born fated to be evil, tries to prevent themselves from going bad but fate just drags them to be evil.

//Unfortunately most of the time born evil is done to create hate sinks you have no issue despising or wanting to kill a thousand ways under the sun. Unlike say fridging which is a objectively bad trope which can never be done well, I do believe you CAN pull off the born evil trope well if done correctly, but as always its mostly done incorrectly.

//Again Kanade being born evil is typical LINUJ cynicism at play, but unlike some of the other ones, I find this one harder to ignore given how early Kanade started to kill, as to ignore it would be to rewrite massive parts of Another canon, and then you could argue you are doing a AU. Really the real blame is LINUJ wanting to do a Korekiyo clone and not know what went into him in the first place.

//Trying to write Kanade as not a serial killer and call it canon has the same energy as pretending Chapter 0 didn't exist. Of course you could have it so the abuse of Hibiki warped Kanade into someone twisted, and that could still work. But sadly having Kanade go through a redemption arc is not canonically possible. And really you could argue Kanade is bound by fate to be evil.

//In fact I see all of the Another cast with massive chains on their necks forcing them down certain paths and if an outsider tries to meddle, massive consequences occur. But yeah it is not fun that we cannot even entertain the possibility of Kanade possibly being a good person since LINUJ said absoluately not.

//Kanade isn't just boring because she's born evil, she's boring because she's a carboard copy of Korekiyo and a even poorer verison of him.
