I don’t think they’d give you a job as a radio show host if you didn’t have a dramatic voice, but if you’re not sure, we might be in trouble. What kind of stuff are you gonna be talking about, anyway?

I see no reason why we can’t do both. Maybe do pizza for the radio and then have a make-your-own nacho bar for the Superbowl, and people can bring their own toppings and shit!

You don’t necessarily have to have a dramatic voice to be in radio. Just have to be able to speak clearly really. It’ll be more of me playing music and announcing traffic and weather. Doing some contests here and there. The basics.

It’s a little too late for the super bowl party considering it’s tonight and I’ve already had my debut but I appreciate the thought of it all.

Jackson panted slightly, grabbing onto the side of the rink, not being able to hold back a laugh as he glanced over at Reveca, losing he’s stream of thought as he pushed up enough not to be bent over. “I think that kid was trying to kill me — I’m serious.” His nose crinkled in laughter, reaching up to pull his curls out of his eyes. “I mean, I get it.” He shrugged, moving slightly closer to her, careful not to lose balance on his ice skates. “I’d be pretty jealous if I saw an older dude with an angel like you.” 

“What’d’ya think, Rev?” Jackson asked, glancing at the group of younger boys who were racing around the public rink, making a bit of a havoc. “You think you chose the right guy to be lucky enough to be here with you?”

Revii pushed one foot in front of the other as she glided over the ice. She watched as Jackson slid up to her and laughed. “Don’t be so dramatic.” She gently nudged him in a teasing manner. Revii couldn’t help but laugh and roll her eyes at his angel comment. And even when she acted like she thought it was cheesy, it didn’t stop her from smiling and her cheeks from growing pink. Jackson had always been that one person that could always make her blush, and after all these years that hadn’t changed.

Revii looked back at the group of teenage boys then back at the taller guy skating next to her. “Well first of all, they’re a bit too young for me. So yeah, I guess you could say I chose the right guy.” She smiled down at the ice for a moment before glancing up at Jackson. She reached out to lace her fingers with is.

So happy for you Harps. Not too bad. Got a new job. Really fun! Spent the weekend back home and went to the lake. I’m a solid 8/10.

As a Lopez, I feel like I have enough rage inside of me that doing something like yoga is more productive. But I’ll consider it. As someone who works in the fitness industry, I’m very interested in learning all types of work outs.

Sounds like a total meet cute. Sometimes getting an answer from my brother is like pulling teeth, so that’s why I had to ask.

You would think it’s the opposite. Using kickboxing to release that rage. But to each their own. Are you a trainer or something?

We should have a listening party! I could round up a bunch of people in the apartments to hear your debut, maybe take up a little collection bin for some pizzas or some shit like that. Everyone seems to like sitting around here anyways, so they might as well. What time does it start? What station is it on?

These are all really great suggestions. Revii to go may be my favorite. I don’t know if my voice will be as dramatic as a deep male voice though. But thanks.

That’s great. How did you two meet?

It’s a very nice stress release. Kickboxing and boxing are definitely my vices when it comes to working out. I’d recommend it.

We actually met at a concert. Bumped into each other, started talking. That sort of thing.
