I’m a little overwhelmed by the amount of people following me but I only interact with less than a quarter of you. The other three quarters who provide no interactions are spiking my anxiety. Not intentionally of course! But it happens.

There’s also the matter of a bunch of crap that went down that has soured my mood with this dash, so I’m HOPING that a clean slate will be all I need to get Scar back. I’ve been hanging around on Nico far too much.

Please keep in mind I’m going to be very selective/private, so if I don’t follow back, that doesn’t mean you can’t interact with me, it just means I want to keep interactions down to people I can handle interacting with i.e: my friends who I’ve plotted a lot of stuff out with, etc. I’m still open to messages and such.

But no seriously. Stop being jackasses. Leave people alone to ship what they want. Understand the difference between reality and fiction. Don’t send shitty hate to people and tell them to die just because you don’t want to or cannot understand their view on the matter either, just as they might not understand yours.

Go read a book. Or don’t, because, y’know. Look. Harry Potter’s technically filled with child abuse and neglect. Hunger Games-- Wait a sec. Game.. Of Thrones...??? Fuck it, everyone should read/watch Peppa Pig instead. How can that possibly go wrong?

Listen both sides of this issue has points, CSA and child grooming should be taken seriously. But a relationship between two adults (+18) of sound and consenting minds should not be considered problematic as long as the two adults are willingly entering the relationship of their own volition and are not made to be dependent on the other.

While of course, there are issues with age gap relationships, but it’s still a normal thing. There is ten years between my cousin and her husband, and their marriage was fine for a long time, my parents had seven years between them, Trisha and Hohenheim had the largest canonical age gap in the FMA fandom, and yet people portraying a safe and sane relationship with an age gap much less are being shunted forward– calling it child grooming, when Trisha and Hohenheim is a much better ship for that argument!!

What about Greedling? or Greedfan? Anyone with a homunculi? Wrath and Mrs. Bradley?

I’m not saying that there are not underlying problems that do not need to be addressed, but enjoying a ship is not an issue. And I would like to state that it is natural and understandable to want to roleplay problematic themes, it’s understanding that a theme is problematic is the important part and tagging it correctly, such as dubious consent and other issues that may arise with such themes (murder, bloodlust, arson, abusive relationships, toxic ships, incest, paedophilia).

Also it is never okay to say anyone any threats of bodily harm, regardless if you agree with them or not.

Irene makes better points than I do because she is more educated on most if not all matters and has a larger vocabulary, I’m just a caveman swinging his arms wildly and angrily at the keyboard. There’s a reason why I reblog her PSAs and the like after mine because they tend to be kinder in wording and easier to understand at least LOL.

If we’re gonna start pointing fingers, Hohenheim met Trisha when she was like what, five years old. And how old is he, again...? And what did he do with her when she grew up? What was that? Have kids? But that means they had... Sex! Shock! Horror!

I guess you could say ships involving EdRoy or EdRiza means that Ed’s essentially following in his mother’s footsteps. If you don’t have an issue with Mr Immortal Thousand Souls Man Hohenheim and itty bitty Trisha, then you by default cannot have an issue with Roy or Riza or anyone with a consenting and legal aged Edward Elric in roleplay or artwork - if he’s underage, then that’s a different kettle of fish altogether.

(But then again, I don’t see people kicking up this much of a fuss about Ed/Al despite that being an incest ship that’s also usually drawn underaged. Just saying...)
