Today I want to share with you one more milestone of my inner journey through being. My very first album INTAKTO. After nearly a year of work , I started this journey on June of last year, when I decided to purchase my very first drum machine, a Roland Tr8-s, it includes basically all of the signature drum machines from the 808 , 909 , 626 and 727, and it did add up to the sound I was looking for. My very first track REMEMBRANCE was the breaking sound of deep house, a long evolving layered pad synth that I prepared with a 1999 groove box from Roland, the MC-505; that and the other percussive elements that I mixed down with the track gave it a unique sound quality , a relaxing soothing experience and the urge to move.
From there I moved forward with my latest hit Space Op Synergy, with this track I went to another level. Once again the sound was driven with an evolving pad, this time the notes came into motion with LFO. The track has been well accepted through the first months for the months of the year. Space Op Synergy is more techno type of sound, old school Detroit techno influenced. The 909 kit from the MC 505 helped me elaborate the sound of the drums , and I mixed some of the hi hats and percussive elements from the TR8-s as well.
So these two tracks embarked me through a journey on sound, and some close friends suggested to me to create an album, so I did =D! I took the quarantine time to finish the whole concept. It;s very eclectic album, although JUNO DOWNLOAD suggests its a deep house album, there is more to the sound, and yes it is deep, but it is also moving and evolving, taking you to places above the realm of physicality. So when you have the time, take a listen! It was created from the perspective of relaxation, contemplation, meditation, and transcendence. Enjoy!
