My name is Fiore and I like to do things like all normal humans. If you're reading this chances are you're normal too. Cheers to that!
The stuff below is more about me + my strawpage. Yay! Yay! Yay!
Most of what I do on this blog will probably just be either me screwing around, reblogging stuff, or on the rare full moon posting my classpecting stuff I sometimes do.
I take requests, but it doesn't mean I'll necessarily do them.
I do what I want because life is meaningless and I wasn't put on this earth for a reason. Maybe I was, but I don't know that reason yet so it's null to me. Got it? Great.
My main big interest is One Piece and anything else that catches my eye. My interests vary fast, though my more prevalent ones have been Homestuck, Monster Prom, One Piece, the Arcana, and Dungeon Meshi.
My main activities are writing, reading, drawing, and literally whatever strikes my fancy. I do what I want. Free will baby!!! Booyeah!!
My identity is currently cupioromantic and queer. I have a fondness for ladies, though if a man is particularly pretty I may have a fascination for him. Gender-wise I'm a cis girl, and I am female aligned.
Okay, guess that's it for now. Go check out my strawpage!
If your backlog of requests isn't too daunting, could I ask what you'd make of a Seer of Hope?
Seer of Hope ⋮ The Sage of Faith and Dreams 🪽
A Seer of Hope's action title would be "Understands Hope or Understands through the knowledge provided of Hope." They'd be one of the most reliable positive forces in a session, not because they simply believe in the victory of their session, but because they're aware that no matter how dark it is- a session's hope is never lost.
The role of Hope in a session is to provide opportunities for its players, to provide future and belief in success, seen through Jake's assistance in pre-retcon's battle with providing the impossible to happen for a near guaranteed victory in the hopesplosion, and Eridan's attempt to save him and Feferi and provide themselves with a future of survival. Seen in those holding the aspect, Hope embodies imagination, belief, faith, what the subconcious wants, desires, and the belief that destiny will always bring you to a favorable outcome. Common symbolic themes and elements of Hope would be religion, angels, dreams, the supernatural, and everything that brings you joy.
The beginning of a Hopebounds journey often revolves around them feeling as though they are destined for something greater or desiring that fantasy-esque life. Eridan believed he would become powerful and a conqeuror alike the historical figures who he admired. Jake believed and daydreamed often of being a daring adventurer scheming cunning exploits. And while none of them were exactly wrong, their dreams still originate from dramaticized retellings or far from truth tall tales. The journey of a Hopebounds player is one of accepting reality, but still learning to perservere and be hopeful in the face of adversary. They must learn to keep their positive demeanor afloat while recognizing the faults in the world, for without their Hope, what passion will they hold to fix the world?
Seers learn and understand their aspect often through written and symbolic depictions of it in media, seen through Rose's trust in literature depicting magic and eldritch beings, and Terezi's faithfulness and interest in the written word of the law and the Alternian Justice system. A seer in a session acts as a guide for their team, aiding their movements and helping them through their advanced understanding of their aspect. Before, during, and after their journey, they learn the ins and outs of their aspect primarily through means typical that to scholars. They use written tomes, the spoken history, and the knowledge that comes to them through those before them. While this does not prevent them from learning through their own experiences and innovating their aspect themselves, they still rely more on knowledge provided by others due to their passivity. An added bonus is that at times their knowledge can be a bit cryptic or confusing to others views.
A Seer of Hope, acting as a combination of the two, would be one who learns through Hope's depictions in media. Be it fairytales or feel-good stories from real life, they learn of the positivity in the world and in turn guide others to relax and trust that everything shall go well. Their journey begins with them likely being a big fanatic of Disney or any other producer of fantastical tales with heroes and villains with the token feel-good endings. They wholeheartedly believe that they will serve in a story like that of their own, given that's what the books say. Alternatively, their parent/s could lead them to believe that by giving them stories from their own lives that are near exclusively good (think about the "How I met your mother" stories that are all lovey-dovey). The Seer of Hope overall would be a pretty positive person at the start, fueled by good will and wanting their friends (and themselves) to all experience a happy ending. The desire to be apart of something greater than themselves and to live their own fairy tale be it as the hero or the guide (in my opinion the latter is much more possible given their role) will serve as a great motive to fuel their journey when it begins on that fateful day of Sburbs release.
When their journey begins to properly advance and take place, their role will be one to guide and learn through their journey. As Rose did with her pursuit of knowledge through arcane methods such as communicating with horrorterrors (in the alt!timeline where Jegbert died due to Terezi's false guidance), and going along with Doc Scratch's advice, the Seer of Hope would be one to pursue a linear journey to have an even deeper understanding of their aspect than what they had prior. And again, while it can seem abstract to the outside viewer, the Seer of Hope knows what they are doing and will be able to understand how to get where they need to be using the guidance of those before them, be it written or spoken. To provide an example of what you could expect, they could be provided help from their exile, their denizen, their sprite, or even a fantastical entity into believing that their belief of a perfect world is true and that they are destined for greatness. The Seer would learn this through studying of ancient scrolls or an oral propechy that they must piece together slowly through the word of consorts. Either way, the knowledge that they have a destiny to achieve fuels their fantasical belief meter and desire for adventure, glory, and Hope. Through out the session, they lead their party under the belief that they have the guarantee of a fairy tale ending, led by desire and faith in their aspect to help guide them.
For an alternative route, the Seer of Hope would be misled in their journey at first, believing that their duty as the guide of the hero in the fairytale is all that they are destined to be. They don't expect anything more when their denizen (or any other guide of your choice) tells them that they aren't meant to be the hero they've always believed to be. This sudden disruption in their system would cause a disastrous mark on the Seer of Hope, leading them down a path marked by doubt in their beliefs and the possibility of lashing out especially against someone they see as more "worthy" than themselves. This path, while full of hardships, opens up the potential for the Seer of Hope to come back stronger than ever. Their teammates for one would be a good sense of stability in this time, able to hold them up and support them even in the darkest days. They'd teach the Seer of Hope the meaning of believing in your friends, and how to embrace the role of the wise sage in the journey. The realization that no hero of fable is able to succeed without someone well-versed in the world is a big moment for the Seer of Hope who goes down this path, and with it they'll rise up to take up the title granted to them by Skaia. Like a phoenix from the ashes, the Seer of Hope shall rise anew and bring Hope once more. For without the presence of hope and belief, a true happy end is near impossible to accomplish.
So what about the ending of their journey? What do they come out with, and how does a fully accomplished Seer of Hope bring to the table? Well, for starters, they'd definitely be an amazing guide if you find that your party has trouble with trusting in themselves and being able to properly realize their dreams into reality. The Seer of Hope, once coming to embrace their title fully, would be able to imbue their allies with Hope and use their understanding to work around it and innovate it to make their visions realized. Say your soldiers feel as though they're overwhelmed, backed into a corner, nearing the verge of surrender. The Seer of Hope wouldn't back down with them, surrendering to the mob mentality, they'd stand up and deliver one of the most influential speeches you'd ever hear in your life. They'd speak of fantasy, of heroes, of dieties, anything hope could encompass. Anything to make their allies realize that even on the darkest day, the sun still shines behind the clouds. And it'd work, fueling yourself and your allies with vigor and faith in your victory. You'd feel weightless, but powerful. Clear-minded, but attentive. Devoted to your victory now guaranteed, and yet grateful for the chance provided by the one who bears the symbol of Hope. To show others the beauty that is Hope is the power of the Seer of Hope, and with it they can inspire and help guide their team to be faithful that Good always wins, no matter what.
That one was a bit longer than anticipated, and definitely changed the formatting.. but im pretty proud of it :B sorry for the delay, hope this reaches your standards and more!
