Watched Vol. 2 and honestly?

Will’s feelings for Mike reduced to “just stupid crush” (I hate it here).

Kali’s plan being… that (no explanation, just disappointment).

Elmax reunion that felt painfully bland for something that was supposed to be emotional.

Vol.2 had moments that shook me…but also choices that made me stare at the screen like why would you do this?

Duffers really said: here’s trauma, take it or leave it(Still all my hopes are officially locked into the finale episode).

Things I actually loved (because not everything hurt):

Steve and Dustin finally resolving their tension,back to being each other’s person like they were always meant to be.

Max finally waking up and Lucas’ overwhelming happiness,that moment healed something in me.

Karen blasting the demodogs and saving the gang, that’s a Wheeler, no hesitation.

Will breaking Vecna's leg.

So Will was confirmed to be the kindest, strongest, most genuinely good person ever as seen by him empathizing with Henry (HIS ABUSER) over both having been used by the Mindflayer and yet despite how he continues to choose gentleness and love over hatred (like Henry) he still does not get the ONE thing he wanted?? The ONE guy he pined for years over that made him feel like he wasn't a mistake??

Having a queer character believe he won't find love and proving him right is not good writing.

Having a character grow up in solitary confinement and then ripping her away from the only family she's ever known to live a life of solitude once again is not good writing.

Having a character be in love with his best friend and then just compare it to a high school crush is not good writing.

Having Eleven say that Mike has always been the person who truly understood her after showing us in the previous seasons that he only sees her as a superhero IS NOT GOOD WRITING.

Having two girls be abused by a man with power for the majority of their lives only to leave them dead and alone as a direct consequence of the trauma they suffered IS VILE WRITING
