After releasing Velvet Lips, something in me stirred—I knew I wasn’t done. I had more writing to do. The songs that followed came from two places: what I was watching, and what I was living. During a stretch of no social media—just me, my thoughts, and the silence—I found clarity.
The Eyes was born after I watched Maid on Netflix. That show hit hard. It unearthed memories of a toxic, abusive relationship I went through in high school. It was raw, but necessary. Maybe Maybe became my anti-social-media anthem—a soundtrack for disconnection in a hyperconnected world. And Careless Again? That came unexpectedly, while rehearsing Careless for a live set. Somehow, it evolved into something new.
Moon-LP is out now. It’s a reflection of what I saw, what I felt, and what I survived.
