Hey everybody,

I think I’m gonna be taking a hiatus. As much as I love all you lovely reylos, it’s been a rough time post-TROS and I think I need to take some time off from the Star Wars fandom and focus a little more on school.

Personally, I think Pedro Pascal was pretty genius casting for the Mandalorian because like, acting ability aside, he doesn’t look particularly badass? And I don’t mean that as a bad thing. That’s actually a very good thing. I think there’s something really interesting about this guy being built up as a terrifying force of nature and then the helmet comes off and he’s kind of normal and soft-looking. His kill count for the first season is probably in the double digits, but he looks like he could be buying artisinal bread at the local grocery store. That kind of contrast is really cool and way more interesting than having him look like a Standard Badass Male Protagonist.
