you and rey would meet on jakku, after long years of isolation
she would at first view you as a rival scavanger, and you guys would always compete
that’s how you’d get to know each other more, leading to long conversations and your competitiveness eventually turning into teasing
rey would actually be the first to fall in love with you but she wouldn’t admit it, because she’d be scared of her feelings and, especially, rejection
once you’d develop feelings for her as well, you would always try your best to get yourself together and confess
which would finally happen, even before finn’s arrival at jakku
you and rey would start dating and it would be quite awkward at first, neither of you sure how to act around each other
once you found out what works and feels comfortable for both of you, you two would be inseperable and would spend all your time together
rey would definitely love cuddling and she would generally be the big spoon
and she does give bloody great cuddles
you would go with her and finn, fighting all the evil forces by your girlfriend’s side
you would love watching rey train and learn how to gain control over the force
it would instantly make you the proudest person in the galaxy
you would always know how to calm rey down when she gets too stubborn and hot-headed
and would always patch her up after fights and battles
she would be oh so gentle with you and would protect you from anything evil because she knows that’s her duty
you two would spend actual days on the board of the millennium falcon, simply talking and cuddling, sometimes even getting naughty
rey would probably teach you how to use a lightsaber but it would take her an awful amount of time and you guys would struggle a lot
but these “training sessions” would be filled with secret kisses and happy giggles, so it would definitely worth it
rey would swear to protect you from any possible harm in the universe and you would secretely try to do the same
because, even though you can’t control the force, you’re supposed to keep your amazing girlfriend safe
