The subtitles for Kisho Hongi are coming along well. Not quiteĀ sure if Iāll have them done before the end of the year, but Iāve finished about 70% of the translation at this point, so I have hope. ^o^

hi there! or more like hi again! i used to be a regular on your blog for touranbu musical, but kinda lost touch due to college and stuff. I was looking through your blog earlier and omg, there are so many new stages? I lost touch around 2018 and looking through the tags was super confusing, it was like an overload of info, especially that one called daienren? are there seriously that many swords on stage now? TOUKEN RANBU DAIENREN
TheĀ āTouken Ranbu Daienrenā, scheduled for August 11, 2020, was supposed to be an event which celebrated the 5th anniversary of āTouken Ranbu -ONLINE-ā. The cast performing at the event would have included the actors from both of the Touken Ranbu 2.5D franchises: the Musical Touken Ranbu (Toumyu) and the Touken Ranbu Stage (Tousute).
However, due to COVID-19, the event was cancelled. Instead, an alternative event calledĀ āTouken Ranbu Daienren ~Hikae no Ma~ā was held. This event was a group Zoom meeting call featuring all the actors who were supposed to participate in the original event.Ā
I took my damn time, but the subtitle is finally ready! As always itās a subtitle-only release, soā¦ the video file is not included!

[1] The āNaruBoru liveā that Sato Ryuji is referring to here is the āNARUTO to BORUTO THE LIVEā that happened on October 5 and 6, 2019. Ryuji as Uchiha Sasuke was part of the special performance that the cast of the āLive Spectacle NARUTOā (Narusute) had at the event.

[2] This is the second time that Ryuji is performing in Makuhari Messe. The first time he performed there this year was for the Japan stop in his solo tour, the āMusical Touken Ranbu Kashuu Kiyomitsu Tanki Shutsujin Asia Tourā, as Kashuu Kiyomitsu from the āMusical Touken Ranbuā (Toumyu).

[3] āBokeā. Loosely translated to āthe funny manā or āthe dumb oneā. He is one-part of the traditional Japanese comedic partnership. The ābokeā acts like an air-head and makes the most ridiculous statements, which the ātsukkomiā jumps in and corrects. If anyone is interested in finding out more, please check out this link: HERE
The word ābokeā can also be used as a verb, which is ābokeruā, loosely translated to, āto bokeā. In this context, it is used to refer to the act of making air-headed comments and/or ridiculous statements, which leave room for correction.

Please do not ask me if I can make the file smaller or whatnot, I cannot do so and I am afraid I donāt have the time to do so as well. Kindly note that the files are all stored in Google Drive and I will NOT be converting nor will I transfer my files to Mega or any other file hosting sites for your convenience. Basically, if you are fine with huge files and Google Drive then of course, your Ask is always welcomed!
