📻 These are from a mod for Fallout 4,but they PERFECTLY capture the atmosphere of Rhedd's apartment. Cluttered, dirty, stuff EVERYWHERE. Rhedd collects stuff, he goes through things so fast, he needs to hold it in his hands and he has a very hard time letting go. Class and style? Only when Rosie tugs the leash.

YOU ARE MY PET!

When Rhedd landed in Hell, he was nameless, naked, and without any memories of who he was supposed to be in life. He was so completely blank that he was more like a wild, rabid animal than someone who was once human. He began hunting and devouring sinners and Hellborn alike, to sate his endless appetite and quell the pain that burned through his skin, behind his eyes, and inside his brain.

That's when Rosie found him... she knew he'd end up here eventually, after all, he sold his soul to her in life. But seeing the way he was now posed an issue... all that power, but not any way to be controlled. Yet. She'd lure him with meat, trap him, and tag his ear... determined to make the most of this oddball of a situation.

And so, she began to train him to be civilized in all the most dehumanizing ways you can imagine. She forced him to walk on the flats of his feet, even though it was physically painful, she punished him with electric shocks from the ear tag, and her own demonic powers. She starved him on purpose to drive his inner beast mad, but would also speak so sweetly to him, reminding him that she was the only friend he's got. As far as he knew, she was right. Outside of Rosie, he didn't know anyone and he didn't know himself.

This process was actually how he spent the first year in Hell, it wouldn't be until the following year that he was set loose on the overlords of the time and ripped them apart. By then, he was the perfect little puppet for Rosie—a pet she could sicc on anyone who crossed her, and the perfect gentleman.

But he still had no identity beyond Rosie. And the trauma of her treatment of him, combined with Hell's fear and hatred of him, as well as the terror of being dropped, forgotten, and left behind... it would culminate eventually into his bipolar personality disorder, which had incredibly manic highs, and intensely fragmented lows. In these moments, he's so unlike himself that it's painful to witness. And sometimes, it feels like he's fresh in Hell, a terrified wild animal that flinches at a sweet voice.

Also forgot to mention that he basically forgot how to speak and everything, had to relearn everything, which is how and why Rosie was able to mold him into her little gentleman. It's also why Rhedd doesn't speak Creole French! He doesn't know it! His post death amnesia is THAT bad. (his head DID explode after all)

📻 Rhedd barely caring at all when he's bleeding from a deep angelic wound on his chest. Rhedd having to be pulled out of harm's way, because he's so devastated by what had swung itself in front of him to protect him.

📻 Rhedd cradling his little red radio in his arms, hugging it to his bleeding chest and desperately nuzzling the thing. Not wanting to lose one of his only dear friends. The red radio barely able to speak to him, having been torn into two pieces, oozing out green blood.
