For a brief moment- a second- she almost felt bad for mentioning how she'd felt neglected because it ultimately wasn't Velvette's fault. But it was too late for regrets. Especially if Velvette couldn't even understand why Odette felt the way she did.

The magic caught her off-guard, blasting against Odette's side and sending her flying back against the nearby alley wall. Her side ached but she leapt back to her feet and charged again, being careful to zig-zag to reduce the chances of Velvette being able to hit her again. "Fuckin'-" she started, "Bitch!" As soon as she was close enough, she jabbed at the doll overlord.

She barely managed to twist away from the attack, the blade catching just the edge of her sleeve and tearing a jagged cut through it. Letting out a wordless yell, Velvette twirled her broom around to strike it against the side of the halberd before letting it lift her into the air slightly, out of Odette's reach. "Stuck up asshole!" She roared back, launching some more blasts of magic at the other woman. She ignored the group of sinners and demons that'd begun to form, some of them starting to record the battle on their phones.
