If I were going to guess - and I am - I think it's when things get physical. Rhett makes faces when Link talks too much to a (male) guest, gets too giggly with a (male) crew member like Josh...but he really gets growly and worked up when there's touching. The More with Lady Antebellum, where Link's band doppelganger touched his face? Rhett looked like he'd swallowed a lemon. He basically ordered Link not to reciprocate.

Link is a natural flirt. Sometimes maybe Rhett's embarrassed by his over-the-top nature, and sometimes maybe he's jealous of Link's greater tendency toward extroversion and his lack of self-consciousness.

But mostly, I think he's jealous of the contact. Fingers on skin. Bodies close. Hugs and leaning in. And oh hell, if Link laughs at something they say, it's all over. Making Link laugh is HIS job. It's their foreplay.

So if Link makes him jealous, gets him all worked up? Gives away what's rightfully his in front of crews and cameras? You better believe Rhett responds. When they're alone, he reminds Link who makes him laugh, who hugs him when he needs it. Who he should be close to. Who gets to put their hands on his body.
