After six weeks of blood, sweat, and tears (and nearly quitting college) I finally finished the Exeter Pound project, a futile attempt at boosting the local economy by using a local currency.

The best photo I've ever taken - October 2014
My friend asked me to draw a sheep flying a UFO...
Paperchase and Pinhole Cameras
Well, I've started my new course! And so far so good. I never realised how expensive SLR film was, nor how tedious developing film can be, but this photography project is still pretty fun - it's amazing how much you can learn in a couple of days, and understanding the science behind photography makes it even more fascinating.
There's a trip to Amsterdam in February, and there's only 30 places (out of a hundred and twenty students! eek) but I'm really hoping I'll be able to go.
I think my favourite thing about this project so far is being able to take a photo with a beer can.
As for Amory, which has more or less been put on hold for the time being (well, I'm doing bits and pieces when I have a spare moment). I invested in a clipboard/notepad thing from Paperchase so better organise all my notes and ideas. Check it out!
The hotel next to one of my college's campuses. I've always loved this building.
Went for a little adventure today before going to see some family friends. I got some great photos with my shiny new camera!

Been there, done that, got the t-shirt
What a week! I bought my very first SLR (Canon Eos 100D) which I am in love with. On Wednesday my phone was stolen - I'd only had it two weeks, you'd think I'd be more careful! The same day I was an extra in a short film called Lyssa, which I can't wait to see the finished result; I'll post it on here if and when it appears online. Then on Thursday I was off to my first festival, Boomtown Fair, outside Winchester for five days. The mud was unbelievable, but the tents and the music and the people made it all completely worthwhile. Plus, it's helped me come up with an ending to my graphic novel, Amory! It's quite surreal being back to normal life, though I have to say I have a new appreciation for my bath and bed. Peace out yo!
Well, that's it for all my old blog's content. Back to the present!
More graphics coursework.
This was the result of a major procrastination session on a train journey home from college one evening. Procrastination can be very productive sometimes!
This piece inspired my first second-year graphics project - the comic I made called Nimbus, which can be found here!
Something I originally did for fine art but took out, because it wasn't going in the direction I wanted.
Bulbasoar - I've only ever played half of Pokémon Red, but I like drawing all the different pokémon.
Some sketches I did of some shops in Cardiff - I was over the moon when eatsleepdraw posted it!
