Friendly reminder that if your furry friends get scared In thunderstorms you should try and comfort them or better yet get them a thunder coat, or just hug them really tight, whatever you do remember that they have feelings too and if you can help them, do.
i thought this post was about furries and iâm fucking sobbing
To people who use "Ăž" as an aesthetic "p"
Ăžink again.
getting thorny in the linguistics fandom
Ăžorny*
That also goes for using Ă as an aesthetic B.Â
On my old server, there was a character named ĂillyĂadass.
This never failed to make me laugh, because that letter is not pronounced like B. It is a sharp S.Â
That guy named himself SsillySsadass.Â
Also to people who you Σ as an aesthetic E

I donât think people know how hard it is to explain what is happening inside my head because, most of the time, I donât understand what is happening inside it myself.
4am messy thoughts (cravings)
let me tell you something: no one is going to look at you, broken and shattered and think - damn, you are beautiful. no one is going to come pick up your broken pieces off the floor and assemble them into a beautiful whole. hell, you wonât even look at yourself and think - I made broken look beautiful. you know why? because all those writers lied to you. yes, all those with their poems of scraped knuckles and blood dripping down chins, pomegranate songs and loves that ripped through you like hurricanes. liars. so you and i, we are going to make a plan. you are not going to romanticize days when your brain tells you to smash that mirror, you are not going to romanticize the lover who doesnât understand you but still writes about you. here is what you are going to romanticize instead: you are going to romanticize the first day of spring, its gentle hands all over your body, lifting you up until you are as light as a feather. you are going to romanticize the tea and honey kind of love, no hurricanes, but sunshine that builds you up from within, that helps you make it through the worst days. you are going to romanticize gentle hands of a friend in yours, telling you that it is going to be okay. because it is. and donât trust poets, weâre no good, we love pretending that our jagged edges tantamount to a beautiful disaster, but in reality - there ainât nothing beautiful about shaky hands holding a cigarette and empty eyes staring at the cracks in the walls. you know what is beautiful, instead? the days when you can look at yourself in the mirror and smile, scars and all. music that makes your soul flow like a river, books that offer comfort, families flocking together like overgrown birds to keep you safe and warm, friends that give you strength when you can find none, lovers who make you laugh through tears. baby, from now on you are going to romanticize healing; honey dripping down your fingertips, August nights that stick to your skin, the day you find your purpose, long car rides and singing so loud that no one can shut you up now. bad news: no one is coming to save you. good news: you can save yourself.

PLEASE UNMUTE THIS
I just hurt myself from laughing at this.Â
Do not forget Michael Brown
Do not forget how the media dehumanized him and tried to justify his murder
Do not forget how peaceful protests were painted as savage riots
Do not forget police armed with military grade weapons terrorized and arrested black civilians
Do not forget Darren Wilson being awarded over $400,000 in fundraiser donations for murdering an unarmed black child
Do not forget that this system was not built to defend us, but to control us
Do not forget FergusonÂ
This post brought back so many memories for me.
For those of you who donât know, I live in St. Louis - 20 minutes away from Ferguson. On August 9, 2014 - the day Michael Brown was killed - I was out of town. I cannot tell you the feeling I got when I read what all my friends were saying on Facebook.
As soon as I got back home (the next day), my city was in an uproar. I protested many times, saw innocent people tackled to the ground then thrown in police cars, felt the intensity of dozens of guns aimed at my back as I screamed, âhands up donât shoot!â
To make matters worse, I had to finish up my last semester of college while processing this trauma. Just to hear my classmates demonize a teenager to justify his extrajudicial murder.
The following year, I worked at a credit union and GUESS WHO I had to serve with a smile? Yes, Mr. Wilson himself.
I donât mean to make this about myself, but what happened to Mike has forever changed me and I could never forget. The events that took place after his execution solidified my distrust in this system and they are what drive me to fight so vehemently for our liberation today.
