It’s the 2 year anniversary of the day Numbuh 1 blew up the planet! Which is weird because it really doesn’t feel that long ago
Anyway I made this short thing to celebrate! The music is straight from op ZERO which was composed by Steve Rucker. And of course KND and GKND was created by Mr Warburton ^.^
I think I just mixed the ‘synchronization splinter’ theory with the ‘similar splinters’ theory.
One theory was that our universes synchronized to each other and keep us stable, despite having earlier time differences. The other said we Already had the same time signature, and came together based on that.
I should explain that ‘splinter’ doesn’t mean it’s cut off from the original Multiverse. My universe is still connected to the KND multiverse as a whole despite what I just said - while negaverses are arguable sources, I can still ping other KND universes. It’s just the time signature matches all these other universes from different multiverses that travel between them is incredibly easy for universe hopping.
A ‘multiverse’ is just a grouping of universes around a significant similarity. The ‘KND multiverse’ are notable for having the KND or something very similar. The ‘Reaper High’ multiverse has students attending Reaper High from multiple universes. Though there’s debate about the ‘Reaper High’ name since there’s arguable proof that other multiverse schools match our time signature, and whether ‘negaverses’ should be included as a second half of a whole multiverse, but that’s technicalities.
I guess the easiest way to explain it is all the students age at the same rate because our universes are the same in that aspect. We’re not going to Narnia, we’re going to a place that ages the exact same. It’s just a different version of us, in a different universe, that doesn’t age at the same rate or started aging earlier than us. That’s the version people have watched. Though it’s sort of creepy thinking about a version of me that lived their whole life in the blink of an eye.
Don’t. Trust me, enough Genius Sanctum students have tried to figure it out. How some people watch others ‘shows’ more years ago than they actually aged. The time desynchronization and resynchronisation. It’s not worth worrying that sort of things and just accept that time is not a constant over a variety of universes.
Are all the universes syncing together? Are they going to unsync? It is possible for one student to return home and a year has passed?
Current theory is that each of our worlds are a multiverse splinter which joined together and synchronized into our own local version of ‘time’ (well, it’s a bit more complex than time since time is relative, but I’m simplifying). We are outside our usual ‘multiverse’ (KND multiverse, Powerpuff multiverse, DC multiverse, etc.) as individual multiverse splinters. I’m from a single instance of the KND multiverse that split from the rest, for example. These unique splinters joined together into a combined ‘RH’ multiverse. So though we Had our own time differences, we splintered from those, found others with the same time signature and those splinters gathered. So all our universes have the same time signature because they were grouped together based on that and keep each other stabilized that way.
In simple worlds, we have our unique multiverse rather than connected to the respective multiverse of our ‘shows’.
That’s not really a simple explanation, so just stick with ‘time is weird’ and you’ll be fine. You’ll run out of time doing it the full way!
Even the closest of friends sometimes need space. This is especially true on Valentine’s Day. The rush of emotions can make even the calmest a bit strange. The TND was no different. An organisation full of teenagers on Valentine’s Day was chaos. Thus, it was one of the few days where few missions are assigned until the day passed. With villains busy anyway, it was a good day to have a bit of a break. Many spent the evenings after school with dates, coping with rejection, or just trying to avoid the event all together.
After Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4′s first Valentine’s Day officially together, it was agreed that any couples on that day were to be away from TND. As cute as it was in the beginning of the day, their affections grew a bit much for everyone by the end. The ‘Valentines PDA’ ruling was put in motion, and it seemed to improve the day for everyone.
Unfortunately, it made Numbuh 2 feel a bit left out at times. Numbuhs 3 and 4 were a given, and Numbuhs 1 and 5 spent a suspicious amount of time together for those not in the know. The fact they were often suspiciously picked alone for missions on Valentine’s Day by administration didn’t help. This normally left Numbuh 2 with the few around TND HQ who decided to run a game night instead. After the day he’s had at Reaper High, a night of games sounds welcome.
The day had been challenging. Seeing friends mixed together in good ways was fine, if odd. But the bad ones. Those still made him shudder. Some relationships didn’t go quite well, and it showed. Every relationship had its bad moments. He tried not to think about the result too much.
After school, he split up from the group to relax away from the school. It’s not like the school was welcoming to the Genius Sanctum after that mess. Everyone knew his usual routine anyway. He took one of his vehicles up to the near-empty TND HQ, eager for the challenge of the nerds who vented their dateless frustration with intense competition. It’ll clear his head easy.
A bit early, he sat by the bar served by a robot, ordered a soda and waited.
Hoagie felt a sympathetic pat on the shoulder as someone sat next to him at the bar. “Cree turn you down again?” the person asked. Another Valentine’s tradition of his. Numbuh 2 looked at the other with surprise before giving a salute.
“Numbuh 362, sir!” he said, instinctively. The leader rolled their eyes and ordered a drink. Numbuh 2 shrugged and lowered the hand. “Yeah, but she’ll come around to my great sense of humor eventually,” he said. Numbuh 362 gave a bemused look. She paused, examining the 2x4 expert.
“Long day?”
Numbuh 2 took a pause mid-sip. “How can you tell?”
“Been through enough of them,” she noted, motioning to the bags under her eyes. How she managed to run both the KND and the TND is something even Hoagie couldn’t fathom. “What happened?”
Numbuh 2 frowned. No point trying to hide any details from her, and at least he didn’t need to do a full report on it. “Dexter built a robot girlfriend which went badly, and a lot of people got fused together,”
“Fused?”
“Some looked and acted like a perfect mix between people, others looked like the Fooglies from Spy Kids. Or like Numbuh 4′s art projects,” Numbuh 2 said, trying to explain it without doing too much into detail. From Numbuh 362′s grimace, she remembered Numbuh 4′s art.
“Ouch,”
“I don’t think it hurt, mostly. It mainly happened to couples,” he explained, trying to make it sound better but not quite succeeding. Numbuh 362 had a sip of her drink. Numbuh 2 noted how odd it was for her to have soda instead of coffee for once. He felt bad about giving her bad news on a non-coffee night. Even Numbuh 86 must of had the sense not to, judging by the fact their leader wasn’t informed.
She seemed thoughtful for a moment, seemingly running through what he said. “I might give those at Reaper High a day off from duty tomorrow,” she said. Hoagie looked at her in surprise. She frowned. “I’m not going to let some of my best operatives not rest after a potentially mentally damaging experience,” she explained, a worried expression descending unto her features. “Plus, it’ll give them time to enjoy Valentine’s Day if they’re recovering from school,” she added, trying to hide the worry but her tiredness not quite allowing it.
A moment of silence passed, both concerned about their friends.
Numbuh 2 gave a wide smile, aiming to lighten the atmosphere.“What about you? No date?” he asked, nudging her gently.
She shook her head, chuckling, amused by the thought. “Too busy. Unless you want to take over the Teens Next Door for a day?” she joked. Numbuh 2 paled and quickly shook his hands.
“No thanks!” he exclaimed. If even Numbuh 1 didn’t want to lead the KND, he didn’t want to imagine the TND. “...Plus, with this important job, you shouldn’t leave it to your Numbuh 2 choice!” he added. Numbuh 362 groaned. Hoagie laughed.
The laughter faded after a while and the two were left alone with their thoughts again.
Numbuh 2 glanced at his watch. The game session was about to start soon. He glanced over to the leader, noting how empty the place was today. And though he went to the game nights, he wasn’t especially close to any of the nerds. Separate schools, separate sectors. “...You know, if you’re bored there’s a bunch of video games set up by the nerds,” he offered. Numbuh 362 raised an eyebrow, suspicious. “What?”
“I thought you were one of them,” she dryly joked.
“Hey! I don’t turn into a werewolf if you steal my cards, thank you,” he said, somewhat insulted. Nothing against them, but even Numbuh 2 could tell he wasn’t full in the nerd circle of the TND.
She seemed to consider her options. He could already tell by the look on her face the paperwork she had left behind, glancing around the lonely HQ. She looked at her drink, before sighing. Numbuh 2 frowned, expecting her decline.
“Fine,”
Numbuh 2 was surprised, but smiled. He got up and started excitedly telling her about the games they set up as they walked. It was good to have a friend after today.
Maybe her could convince her to have a Valentine’s Tradition too.
“HOAGIE GILLIGAN!” a monkey violinist yelled.
“I think she found out you spent Valentine’s Day with Rachel,” Ace stated as Numbuh 2 ran for his life. Of course Numbuh 4 had to mock her straight to her face without context. He could hear Numbuh 3 cheering him to run.
I heard some of you are interested in my greatly successful pick up lines. So here’s a few of them based on Halls, so they’re pretty general.
Club Galaxy:
“There’s space in my heart for someone like you”
“You’re the star of my affections”
Brawl Hall:
“Someone like you doesn’t give me a fighting chance”
“I’m Brawlready in love”
Genius Sanctum:
“I don’t need to be a Genius to know beauty when I see it”
“Brain beats brawn, so no wonder you make my body feel weak”
Music Hall:
“Not to be brass, but I think we’ll be perfect together”
“Me not asking you out would be a sinphony,”
Also, as Ace proved, anything involving ‘Ass’ or ‘Uranus’ just ends up with slaps. Or ‘woodwind’, ‘biology studies’, ‘private workout’ or any other innuendo.
Okay so the KND gang are probably all 16, so my basic timeline for the KND in RH is:
1) End of KND’s cartoon canon with Operation INTERVIEWS. Most of the real life interview sections however, are fake to throw off Father (or the GKND??) from Numbuhs 1 through 5′s true whereabouts. The content of some of the interviews however is canon. Like Numbuh 5 being/having been supreme leader. Nigel is still offworld with the GKND. Sector V are anywhere from 10 to 13, and Chad Dickson is 13 to 16.
2) The team is 13 and Chad is 16. Abby is supreme to a KND under attack. Lizzie Devine is revealed to be an alien in disguise, as well as a GKND agent codenamed Numbuh Vine. Nigel returns with an armada of GKND ships in tow, intending to wipe his home planet of anyone older than 12. Chad Dickson is captured by the GKND, and pleads with Numbuh 1 to go against his orders, and not wipe the planet of all non kids.
3) Things happen, and the day is saved. All we can confirm is Nigel eventually rejoins the good guys, and the world as they know it doesn’t end. Eventually Numbuh 5 retires from the position of supreme leader via tag or appointing a successor. 1 and 5 return to commanding Sector V either together or in their original 1st and 2nd in command configuration.
Notably no one is decommisioned. It’s possible decom has been made optional or reserved for retirement. More likely however, all of Sector V proved themselves deserving as TND operatives in saving the world from the GKND.
4) The kids start attending highschool, probably Hendry Middle, for at most 2 years. Numbuhs 1 through 5 are now 16, and Chad is 19.
5) Reaper High begins(appears?) and all of Sector V begin attending as Juniors during year 1. Who the heck knows what Chad is doing here, probs just checking in on Sector V because he is still protective. Go to college Chad, your mother is crying. If she even is your real mom, honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if that shit was fake too at this point.
Because this is a highschool I demand KND not having the same lunchtime. There are too many kids, 5 whole kids cannot all manage to have the same lunch period with schedules that vary this much. I vote space acenigey boy gets lunch C when everybody else manages Lunch B freshman year. So when he’s walking to his one gym class in brawl hall, he passes one of the cafeterias and his whole team is sitting at a table talking and laughing and he weeps a single sparkling space tear internally. That’s what you get for choosing space.
So 3 and 4 get the bright idea to sometimes hang by the door and toss food at him as he passes and kuki’s snack of choice is like gummies in a little pack so no problem. But Wally want’s nigel to be well fed and throws him a chili dog full speed aiming at his mouth.
Sophmore year splits 5 from the group so Abby has to eat with BCup, Tootie and whoever else and also Mandy is there sometimes for drama reasons.
Junior year splits 3 and 4′s lunches and every single day without fail when kuki walks by the door wally runs from the cafeteria full speed to hug her. He may or may not knock other kids over in the process.
Senior year Nigel gets the same lunch with them so he can finally eat lunch with his GF and best pals hurrah! But now Hoagie doesn’t have lunch with them. And has to eat with the nerds Spicerpuffs the nerds.
Considering it’s Numbuh 4, I wouldn’t be surprised if more often than not he manages to launch the chili dog Perfectly into Nigel’s mouth, mid-sentence, no matter how guarded he is. Eventually he just gives in and gets used to opening his mouth mid-sentence around the cafetarias.
On days when Numbuh 4 is sick or detention, Numbuh 2 fetches his chilli dog launcher instead. Both make their accuracy ratings a friendly competition and start taking turns. On particularly close days, Nigel has to dodge a second chilli dog or ends up with two in his mouth.
They would though. Review of their performance of the day is certainly a part of regular lunch conversation.
I’m imagining in the begining, the gummies were his only warning, like the dropping of the flag before the race, moments after the chilidog arrives. But as the competition sparked the gummies were later to the party, and eventually he gets two chilidogs at a time, there’s the sound of 4 and 2 back slapping and high fiving and then the gummies just ping off his chest because 3 was momentarily stunned by events. And now she just waits until after the chilidogging to throw them.
Nigel probably just skips eating on the double chili dog days, or maybe all together. A chilidog and a bag of gummies is a balanced lunch for sure. Plus conversation around the club galaxy table is probably more interesting then eating. Especially since all the diffferent species could possibly eat completely different diets, the smell around there would probably be out of this world a challenge. Honestly those 3 are probably doing him a favor feeding him early.
Also Spicerpuffs is 2 years older then KND apparently, so Hoagie needs new lunchmates for senior year! All applicants must display a high tolerance for puns.
Definitely agree on the food stuff. Though for hilarity I imagine once when Numbuh 1 makes them both annoyed (them staying up late to do paperwork for a mission) he ends up with two chilli dogs stuck straight on his sunglasses or as horns.
I thought they’re all in the same year at RH, due to different universe time sync ups? The KND are all in Joker’s Finest Hour, and that was a Year 1 event for Jack and Blossom I believe.
But having some distance from all the intergroup couples is probably good for Hoagie. The two couples meeting up after classes apart would make a boring lunch (not that Spicerpuffs would be much different when they’re together). Here’s hoping his flirting eventually pays off so he isn’t bored with all the couples.

Numbuh 2 grinned at his fellow Numbuh, glad to be out of the way. The Brawl Hall wasn’t exactly the most friendly place for a Genius Sanctum student to be wandering around, even with close friends inside it.
He sat on a chair which didn’t look like it had been recently been thrown about and pulled a tiny device from his goggle band. “Software update. People have been trying to crack the encryption in our communicators again,” he said simply. Not unusual for Genius Sanctum students to try, and it’s not the first time he had to update things because someone got bored. “Plus, I only used Numbuh 86′s communicator parts that time and she made me give her mine. There’s a difference,” he corrected. Not necessarily a smarter difference, but it was being repaired at the time anyway.
Listening as he settled himself on a chair she sighed. Another update? Great. Biting back a comment about nerds having too much freetime, she flicked her hair out of the way and plucked her communicator off her ear. She pushed off of the desk, and handed him her device to update, before walking around the desk to rummage in her bag.
How could she forget? “Of course, using 86′s communicator is the smartest choice, then you’ll still have yours for emergencies.” Her attempt at a frown slipped into a smile. At the thought of the redhead her smile diminished somewhat, and she added, “86 still won’t shut up about it, honestly if you need parts in the future take 3′s or 4′s.” She straightened up, returning to her seat, with a textbook in one hand while adding, “Those two are together most of the day anyways. Numbuh 1 won’t like it, and it’s not exactly the best idea, but anything is better then giving her something more to rant about.”
After a bit of time spent reading and note taking 5 asked, “How’s Bradley?” It had been a few days since she’d seen her godson last. Then again how much trouble could a skunk with a driver’s license get up to in a multidimensional highschool?
Numbuh 2 connected the small device to her communicator before placing it on the table to update. He frowned at the incident in question. “No need to remind me. She still yells at me for ‘having to wear my stuuuupid goggles’ for an hour. It was being repaired anyway, how was I meant to know she’ll check up on it before I could build a new one!” he lamented. He could swear sometimes his goggles still rang with her voice. “I’ve learnt my lesson and just added more communicator parts to my spares, so it doesn’t happen again,” he explained, pulling out a book of his own. An assignment design of his needed a bit more refinement.
Looking up after choosing a different tread design, he smiled. “He’s fine! I fixed up a minor issue with his jetpack propulsion system two days ago and gave him a race against my own. He nearly won too, until a villain ruined it,” he said. Said villain didn’t stand much of a chance against Bradley, but it still stopped the race.
Numbuh Five kept walking deeper into the hall of brawl. Her ears tuning in to the familiar sound of her teammate’s following footsteps. Veering right after a while, she slid the door open to an empty classroom before walking inside. After ensuring the room was completely empty, she plopped down on the teacher’s desk, and tossed her book bag into the chair behind it.
“Need some help with your French homework or somethin’ Numbuh 2? You know you could just ask right?”
She said, voice loud enough to hear beyond the doorway,
“Or you could call Numbuh 5, or did you need your communicator for parts again in one of your advanced nerding classes?”
Numbuh 2 grinned at his fellow Numbuh, glad to be out of the way. The Brawl Hall wasn’t exactly the most friendly place for a Genius Sanctum student to be wandering around, even with close friends inside it.
