From Monday- a big gouache painting to finish a 2 week assignment. It's a long story.

I'm done with wintersession also. It's been nice to learn about how metals work and to work in 3D for once as well. I still think I'm going to major in Illustration so I'm not confident I'll use all these skills in the long term, at least not for future jobs or professional work, but the skills are still fun to learn and good to have.

Knowing how to use the tools in the metal studios is good too.

Never posted these updates. Sadly my two bettas passed away over winter break, but I’ve set up a 10 gallon tank and filled the two empty tanks with two new bettas pictured here. I’ve also set up a 2 gallon shrimp bowl. If aquascaping is an art I think that would be a cool major.

Never posted my newest roommates? The betta’s name is Navy and he’s a “Butterfly Betta” and on the right is one of my ghost shrimps.

Dogs from drawing on uh… Wednesday… This week’s assignment is to do five drawings of dogs on 16x20" paper.

Photos from the nature lab & my betta fish. The snake's name is Netop and we're allowed to take him out of his cage as long as we ask the nature lab staff first. He's super sweet. I just call my betta fish Crimson like an edgy teenager. He's got a 3 gallon tank and lives with me in my dorm.
