β i'm semi-selective. so long as your writing track record consists of more than one-liners, you show common etiquette, and i think there's potential for interaction between our muses, i'll be open to following. i do like to chatter so be mindful that i might just yap - i do write fairly regularly but i might not be the blog for you if you want a writing-only experience.
i am very crossover-friendly ! path to nowhere is fairly niche so i promise that i will never ask you to know its ins and outs. i do post about it actively, though. spoilers are tagged 'ptn spoilers'.
activity is low-to-medium. i try to write something somewhere at least weekly, but there'll be times where i don't have it in me. it kind of directly correlates with my energy levels which admittedly are in flux right now as i'm coming off an extended period of Duress(tm) that heavily impacted my sleeping habits. once i don't need to nap in the middle of the day anymore my activity should tip more towards general medium :')
β coquelic is a bitch. she is abusive at worst and lukewarm at best, and tends to be rather flippant and disagreeable even with people she cares about. follow/or don't per your own discretion and comfort. i also ask that you do not approach interactions with the intention of your muse becoming 'an exception'.
β i expect and extend all standard etiquette (godmodding, metagaming, theft...stuff you've seen in every other rules page). i genuinely do not care about reblog karma - if you like a quote or a meme then feel free to reblog it from me - it goes without saying, but just keep away from in-character stuff you're not involved in.
tangentially related to this, i will usually post in-character asks i get as a separate post if i think they have potential to turn into something. ooc asks or anything i interpret as a one-off "shenanigan" is usually published as a regular ask. if you see something i don't, however, you're always welcome to continue in a post of your own and i'll respond accordingly.
β i'm tentatively open to shipping, but coquelic has an abrasive personality that doesn't lend itself well to romance. and just in general, i don't approach any dynamic with shipping as my first intention. because of her personality, romance with coco will usually come down more to intention than like... fluff.
β i'm not a 'taboo writer' and i'm not interested in writing with people who are. that being said, i have negative interest in discourse, most callouts, or watching people go for each other's throats on the dash. if i feel like you tend to be entrenched in these things, i'll probably avoid following. i'm aware that there are extenuating circumstances sometimes, but when it's something that probably could've been resolved with healthy conflict resolution skills, i prefer to mind my own business. trust me when i say you'll have a happier, healthier time on this webbed site if you mind your own.

I think a lot about the rain meets gunfire event because it really solidifies the multitudes chief is forced to exist in and how hard it is to navigate ethics when you're in charge of a prison complex in a hypercapitalist metropolis that withholds a resource exclusive to its borders and leaves its neighbors to die.
hilda was a cryptologist who was held captive by discity and put into crysosleep because they couldn't torture intelligence out of her. then however many decades later, they send chief in to project themselves into her consciousness and they actively tamper with her memories, developing rapport with her and then disappear because chief was never really there and so they leave hilda with these memories of camaraderie and then being abandoned and we do all of this to her to get...intelligence that she refused to give up during a traumatic time. then we have the nerve to be like 'but you need to wake up and live in this new era in an enemy city because it feels unethical to leave you to die in cryosleep' like oh my god discity we just might go to hell for that one
i do want to make a return to coco because oh my god her 4* attire but i keep getting @'d for fundraisers of debatable legitimacy on this blog so i wonder if it's time to remake........ like normally it's all pixels on a screen to me but when it's actually stuff in my activity it's like umuh. maybe not
the question is also do i keep this url.... i mean it's sort of my brand but i wonder if a declension of a word that's part of the poppy flower's scientific name is like. a little much ykwim

i haven't been rp-brained for uh. a few months now bc i've been having fun just creating other things for myself but i'm feeling a stirring of coco so i think the change of pace has been doing me good... mayhaps there will be some writing soon
