I have to apologize to everybody for starting off this year strong and then just vanishing from everything and everyone. Just know that my reasons were quite personal and unfortunate, and though things were rocky for a while, it’s much better now, and I’m hopeful that I will be able to return to this blog soon and make a good effort to get it properly updated.
I hope everyone has had a good few months! Please let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to reblog. I’d love art and fic suggestions for my personal viewing/reading pleasure as well as to help boost the content on the masterlist.

So, I was supposed to post this yesterday, but I have been basically smacked down by a small collection of illnesses. When your doctor barely glances at you and says the words “oh, you’re a mess,” I guess you are allowed to commit to sitting in one spot and staring at the television for several days, am I right?
But hey, so much fic has been bouncing around, and I am having a moment of mental clarity right now, so what the hell. Here’s all this! Thinking it’ll tide everyone over until I can KO a few of these sicknesses and get back on top of life!
FYI - I’m posting in backwards chronological order, because I’ll soon be pasting these into the big masterlist, which is here. If you are trying to be OCD and go through reading everything on one of these “daily” recap posts, the easiest option is to go to the bottom of the post and work up. That way, if someone published multiple chapters of a story since my last recap, you will see the links to each chapter in the correct order. Godspeed!

Sending links directly to me or just tagging the blog in your post (as opposed to hash tagging) is also great, obviously. But if you hash tag, then it’s just another way for me to come across it.

Just a technical comment, though: hashtags in reblogs are only for one’s blog’s organizational purposes, meaning they won’t show up in the tag page (if you go to tumblr.com/tagged/rhrmasterlist, only original posts tagged as rhrmasterlist, will show up, but not the posts other people might have reblogged and added that tag to.)

So, in my quest for pure R/Hr, I've stumbled into what is surely a familiar issue among readers of this (or probably any) ship: stories tagged as one ship but that hide a shift to another ship(s) later. For instance, one of the more common ones I've seen: a story that starts out Hermione/Ron but ditches Ron and morphs to Hermione/Draco. I've seen a lot of these listed as Hermione/Ron AND Hermione/Draco, but some don't advertise the second ship... I'm trying my best to weed out fic that goes against the ship we care about - the one the masterlist is meant for. But please feel free to bring it to my attention if you ever see a fic on the masterlist that goes against Ron/Hermione. We want a nice, pure list here. Thanks!!

I will be, over the course of 2016, attempting to compile all fanfiction & fanart featuring Ron/Hermione aka R/Hr aka Romione of Harry Potter that has been newly published in 2016. This means that I will not be focusing on chapter stories that have been updated within 2016 and originally posted in a previous year. I may eventually go down that dark, dark path. But, for right now, I will be solely focusing on brand new work.
Please, if you come across a work of fanart or fanfiction (on any website - FFN, Tumblr, DeviantArt, LiveJournal, AO3, etc) that appears to be missing from my masterlist (which can be found as the featured post on this blog), I would be most grateful to you if you would tag me or link me to the original author/artist posting. I will not be archiving anything, only posting links to where the author/artist chose to share their fan works. Please be respectful of all fandom writers and artists, and do not move their work to another location without their permission. We want to spread love by leading readers/viewers to the website of the author/artist’s choosing, which will bring them more consolidated traffic, keep things where they want them, and help expose them to more readers/viewers!
I’m super excited about this project, but keep in mind that I am only one person. If I don’t have your work linked in the masterlist, it is absolutely not because I don’t like you or your work! This is a non-biased list, simply directing people to as many links as I can compile - it is not a recommendations/favorites list. I won’t be reading everything I come across, as that would literally take my entire life, I feel sure... So, if you see that your own 2016 fan work isn’t linked in the masterlist, and you would like for me to add it, I would love to do that! Send it my way.
