When you wish you lived out-of-state so you wouldn’t have to deal with certain family members as often as you do.

I got in line for my first Foo show this morning. Around 3:00 p.m. local time, we were told that the show was cancelled and rescheduled. Am I disappointed? Hell yes. That being said, I hope everything turns out well in Foo-land. We know these guys don’t cancel for just anything.

Going to my FIRST Foo concert on Saturday!

For Halloween, I’ve decided to dress up as Freddie Mercury in “I Want To Break Free”. I bought a wig today. I got a pink sweater that I’m cutting the sleeves off, and I already own a pair of black heels. If my current black pencil skirt doesn’t fit, I don’t mind buying one that will. (No leather, sorry. Not in the budget.) Oh, and a friend of mine is loaning me her daughter’s toy vacuum cleaner.

I’ll be very surprised if 5 people in my building know who I’m supposed to be, but I don’t care.

My office (9 women, 1 guy) has decided to do “Peter Pan” for our annual Halloween Costume contest. The one guy is going to be Peter Pan. He’s a big, burly redhead - and he’s going to wear green tights! I told him if the whole Peter Pan costume thing doesn’t work out, he should practice saying “Ho ho ho” and tell people he’s the Jolly Green Giant.

I really wish I could be more positive, but lately, life has been taking a giant shit on me.

The only good thing I can say is, I hope someone is enjoying a reprieve from their shitstorm.

When one of your so-called friends calls you out for scratching her car door with your car door, then you hear them talk about spending $150 on fireworks. NOTE: It’s entirely possible that my car is the culprit, but it’s also entirely possible that my car is not the culprit. I’m extremely careful around ALL car doors. And, it’s a 90′s Celica w/ an already shitty paint job.

Shit just got real.

It looks like my first Foo concert is actually going to happen! FF2017 - Rupp Arena, Lexington, KY

I’m going to be in Lexington, also! I’ve got GA tickets and this will be my first time seeing the Foos, although I’ve seen 3 of 6 members performing w/ Chevy Metal.

When NOTHING motivates you to get in shape, but getting your first GA tickets to a Foo show does it!

Hey, peeps! Guess who’s going to see the Foos for the first time! MEEEEE!!!!

A little story: Years ago, I told my mom I was going to Texas for a concert. Mom, being the overprotective helicopter she is (I’m a grown-ass woman), looked up the band on YouTube and watched a couple of videos. I didn’t know this until I got back. Well, I was thinking God only knows what she’d find if she searched Foo Fighters on YouTube. Then, my BFF reminded me of “Hot Buns”....

When you want to get the fuck outta Dodge, but you can barely afford the gas to go across town.
