ABBOTT ELEMENTARY — S.01 E.12
jeff and britta are endgame.
she has a garden that she always forgets to water, so he does it for her when she isn’t looking. she is so proud of her garden, shows it off to everyone, and brags about it to jeff. he will never tell her he’s the one who upkeeps it. he pretends to be annoyed when she talks about how much of a good plant mom she is, but when she turns around he just looks down and smiles.
jeff insists to everyone that he only drinks black coffee and makes fun of sweet coffee, insisting it’s not even real coffee and that he’s SO mature and refined for only drinking expensive black coffee. britta knows he’s lying, and she never says anything. when she gets up before him she makes both of them coffee, putting extra creamer and vanilla syrup in his, and they don’t talk about it. it’s silent and unmentioned, but he loves it. when abed looked in the fridge and found caramel coffee creamer, britta lied and said it was hers, even though she hates dairy creamer. abed called her bluff and she drank it, trying not to gag or spit it out, but did it anyway. jeff woke up extra early to make her breakfast in bed the next day.
If this is to be my funeral, then, let’s get on with it.
The safest place I can be is right here next to you.
MADAM SECRETARY | 5x20 “Better Angels”
I read this one report, a few years ago, it was like where the world will be in 2030, and I had a total freak-out.
What do you want?
HIZZIE + FOSIE PARALLELS (requested)

can we imagine riarkle trying to do taxes
like they’re nineteen and so confused about how these work
Cory never taught them this?? what are they supposed to do now??
they thought living together for college would be easy; they were wrong.
they get so fed up at each other because of this.
“You’re the genius in this relationship, why don’t you know?!”
“Well excuse me, Miss Valedictorian, why don’t you know?!”
eventually Farkle gives up and googles it
Riley yells at him the entire time like “WE CAN FIGURE THIS OUT WE DO NOT NEED A MACHINE”
“RILEY I’M PRETTY SURE NEITHER OF US KNOW WHAT TO DO JUST ACCEPT THIS”
Riley literally calls up Cory like “THIS IS YOUR FAULT” and Farkle (who has recently gotten engaged to Riley, no doubt) is like “YEAH MATTHEWS- I MEAN FUTURE FATHER IN LAW I RESPECT VERY MUCH”
needless to say, this is how Cory finds out he’s going to be related to Stuart
Topanga has known this news for a while now but she’s just kept it to herself
so when Cory gives her a wide eyed look, she just sips her tea and goes to get Auggie ready for school
Cory starts yelling at Farkle through the phone so Riley hangs up
The two of them hide out in their apartment for the next week in fear of Cory appearing randomly to lecture them
they spend this week actually figuring out how to do the taxes
Riley manages to send them in just in time
but they miscalculated their expenses so they get some money back
Farkle splurges to take them home for a weekend since they’re at Stanford and its a 43 hour drive
so they visit Stuart and Jennifer first
Jennifer admires Riley’s engagement ring and scolds Farkle for not telling her sooner
Stuart can’t help but laugh at the irony of it all
then they go to the Matthews
Topanga’s been expecting them so all she says when they come in is “so you figured out the taxes?”
“Of course, Mom. They aren’t that hard.”
Cory just loses it when he sees them
Farkle’s got his arm around Riley’s waist and he’s pretty sure Cory is trying to use a mental laser to remove it
Riley’s not even that fazed when her father goes “YOU!” at Farkle but the poor boy is shaking
Farkle just squeaks out a “we figured out the taxes, Mr. Matthews.”
I AM HERE FOR COLLEGE RIARKLE AUS
i had a remarkably good idea at how 19 year olds act when i wrote this at like 14. — 19 year old me
Ya'll know it wasn't Josie who saved Hope.
Josie got Hope into the mess. Josie didn't even realize her sister had been brainwashed, yet Hope figured it out in a minute.
(But keep calling out Hope for golem Landon, it just makes you look dumber than usual)
Josie lied to Hope to get her to go with her, putting her life in danger.
And when Hope became brainwashed, Josie, who was still in her right mind, did nothing to stop it.
Let's not even talk about the fact that Josie was willing to leave her own sister at the cult as well.
But back to Lizzie saving Hope.
Lizzie figured out what was happening.
Lizzie reversed Josie’s mind control, and Lizzie made the plan to save Hope.
Josie had to step into that role simply because Lizzie got knocked out.
If it weren't for Lizzie, they'd all be part of a brain washed cult still.
So stop sitting there thinking this was some sort of "hosie" serve. It wasn't.
You may have gotten scenes together, but you didn't win anything other than the proof that your ship is dustier than the bottom of the Sandman's shoe.
These swimming pools with black tiles are my aesthetic.
Make the black tiles out of that black material that absorbs all light and swim over the void.
Fun fact about Vantablack- Because it absorbs all light, it heats up very fast. If exposed to direct sunlight, it takes in all the UV and heat and contains them, and can reach heats well over 212°F, the boiling point of water. So if you did coat the pool in that material, the water would boil as soon as the sun touched it, killing everyone swimming in it.
But that’s not all. The flash boiling of an entire pool of chlorinated water would release the chlorine as gas, which would kill everyone within a 200ft radius of the pool. And it doesn’t end there.
The release of chlorine gas combined with the heat of the black tiles would be more than sufficient to fuse the boiled hydrogen ions with the chlorine, creating an explosive reaction with the nitrogen in the air. So shortly after everyone in the pool boils and everyone around the pool dies of chlorine gas poisoning, the region would explode with the force of a small atomic bomb (8kt for a pool like those pictured above), leveling about 50 city blocks.
You’d think that would be bad enough, but get this-
Such chemical explosions expel gamma rays. Gamma rays ionize hematite, which is the mineral from which the black material mentioned is made. This creates Scopohyoscpnol, a compound known as “The Zombie Drug” because it essentially erases the brain and induces cannibalistic tendencies in its victim. It can be transmitted through saliva, infecting all who are bitten within hours.
So basically, if you did have Vantablack tiles in your pool, you would boil your friends, poison your neighbors, nuke your city, and condemn the globe to a zombie plague. But to be fair, it would look pretty cool.
A true hydrohomie
Oh my god I was literally there for this
Seriously though as a teacher this is like the worst thing you can do. The teacher’s trying something different to add variety and to engage everyone without putting people on the spot and this absolutely ruins it
I absolutely understand your concern, but I promise that this was purely a positive experience for the class. We did word clouds like this daily for the entire quarter, and this was the only time anyone tried to spam it. As for being engaging, the entire auditorium started to laugh, even students who were half asleep, and the professor herself. As a one-off event, this was far from a bad experience for the teacher or class!
I like how this went from “haha i made a funny” to “not funny, feel bad” to “everyone was fine with this, dont worry! chill.”
