it becomes increasingly obvious that many ppl are not capable of or simply don’t feel like putting in the effort to identify bigotry and poor writing in the comics they’re reading, and instead rely on other people to tell them which comics are or are not okay to like. because i am constantly seeing people decry misogyny and poor depiction of sexual abuse in sb94, talk about how they couldn’t get through it, can’t like the characters, can’t understand anyone reading it, etc. and then turn around and talk about how much they love. let’s just say. for example. new teen titans
