His were the eyes of a man who has gazed into the abyss, and the abyss gazed back, and then he endorsed the abyss.
Nobody is coming for you, Chris Christie. Nobody is coming to save you. (via wilwheaton)
I'm planning to bring a wheelbarrow to work today. I have a meeting with a client that never opens "just a few" jobs. #graphicdesignerproblems #inhousedesign
When... the... client... keeps... making... changes... to... the... layout. #graphicdesignerproblems
Monday was quiet. A little too quiet. I think we're about to get a downpour of job requests due to the work missed because of the snow days last week. #graphicdesignerproblems
I wish we had the helpful type of gnomes at my office. The ones that come out late at night and miraculously get client approvals with no changes or remove creative blocks. Our gnomes are little jerks. #graphicdesignerproblems
When a client tries to bring me a job directly... "Go Directly to Marketing. Do Not Pass Go. Do Not Collect a Design." #inhousecreative #graphicdesignerproblems
Just when you get some jobs cleared out and your head is above water. It's raining again.
The job that won't die. It's been revised and rewritten countless times. It's now a walking nightmare that endlessly circles through approvals. It rears it's ugly head every few weeks but never goes to print.
Think you've got your jobs under control? Think again! Ninja hot jobs. You never see them coming until it's tooooo late. (Like due tomorrow.) #graphicdesignerproblems
How I feel when a client stands over my shoulder and tells me exactly how to do my job. #graphicdesignerproblems
Mondays have the worst traffic pile ups. #graphicdesignerproblems
Urgh! How is it only WEDNESDAY?!?!!
Oh sure. Your ridiculous request is not a problem at all. Let me just use the magic words "Abrac-Adobe!" and pull some miracle out of my..... hat.
Oh I see the client hasn't put any useful information in the creative brief. Let me use my mystic designer powers to read your mind. #graphicdesignerproblems
Here's my big idea. Art trucks. Because the moment an arts district really gets going, the rent goes up and the art galleries have to move out. Take South main for example, its mostly clothing boutiques and restaurants now. So with art trucks the galleries go to the people. Overton square is poplar so boom instant art truck art walk. Then next weekend Broad ave. Etc.
I hope they save this building. Such a cool space. #tennessebrewery (at Tennessee Brewery Untapped)
