I just witnessed "American Gigolo" (1980) in 35mm. Paul Schrader, the director, spoke about how the film came to be, about ideas conveyed through pictures alone, being meticulous about direction, making a specific world for characters, and spoke at length about my hero Giorgio Moroder, the composer. What an amazing experience. Thanks Metrograph. #nyc #les #giorgio (at Metrograph)

Royal Tenenbaum bought the house on Archer Avenue in the winter of his 35th year. Over the next decade he and his wife had three children and then they separated. #nyc #wesanderson @wesandersondaily (at The Royal Tenenbaums House)
