It’s time… here are this years prompts!

Snowpines/Richfarmers Week 2024 will be hosted from June 9th through 15th, and the prompts are:

(Atlas) Ball / Supernatural/Mythical

Secret/Fake Relationship / Swap

Enemies to/and Lovers / Modern

Rewrite / Free Day

Rules:

All forms of art: fanart, fanfiction, edits, gifs, playlists, etc. are all welcome!

You can combine prompts or use just one. (If your piece isn't exact to the prompt that's alright too.)

Submissions are welcome early or late. (Early submissions will be queued for their day, late ones will be reblogged.)

Secondary Ships are allowed, just keep the focus on Snowpines.

And NSFW will not be allowed.

Day 7: Free Write

OSCAR (singing): You know I want you. It's not a secret I try to hide. I know you want me. So don't keep sayin' our hands are tied. You claim it's not in the cards. And fate is pullin' you miles away. And out of reach from me. But you're here in my heart. So who can stop me if I decide. That you're my destiny? What if we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine. Nothing could keep us apart. You'd be the one I was meant to find. It's up to you, and it's up to me. No one can say what we get to be. So why don't we rewrite the stars? Maybe the world could be ours. Tonight!

WHITLEY (singing): You think it's easy. You think I don't wanna run to you. But there are mountains. And there are doors that we can't walk through. I know you're wondering why because we're able to be. Just you and me within these walls. But when we go outside, you're gonna wake up and see. That it was hopeless after all. No one can rewrite the stars. How can you say you'll be mine? Everything keeps us apart. And I'm not the one you were meant to find. It's not up to you. It's not up to me. When everyone tells us what we can be. How can we rewrite the stars? Say that the world can be ours. Tonight!

OSCAR and WHITLEY (singing): All I want is to fly with you. All I want is to fall with you. So just give me all of you.

WHITLEY (singing): It feels impossible.

OSCAR (singing): It's not impossible.

WHITLEY (singing): Is it impossible?

OSCAR and WHITLEY (singing): Say that it's possible. How do we rewrite the stars? Say you were made to be mine? Nothing can keep us apart. 'Cause you are the one I was meant to find. It's up to you And it's up to me. No one can say what we get to be. And why don't we rewrite the stars? Changing the world to be ours.

Day 6: Magic

COFFEE IS FOR CLOSERS

Pairing: Whitley Schnee x Oscar Pine

Word Count: 2,614

Summary: Whitley’s corporate job has been keeping him busy, and at this point, he’s running on caffeine and fumes. His friendly neighborhood barista, Oscar, tries to warn him to take a break. But, Whitley doesn’t want to hear it. He resents the coffeemaker for not minding his own business…until a medical emergency forces him to reevaluate his priorities.

Day 5: Sun/Snow

EXT. VACUO - Day

The sun beaming down upon the sandy desert of Vacuo.

Temporary shelters are scattered around the Kingdom.

OSCAR PINE and WHITLEY SCHNEE are passing out food to people in the scouring heat.

Whitley looks worse for wear, then suddenly faints.

Oscar catches the boy is his arms.

INT. SHADE ACADEMY - NURSE'S OFFICE - Day

A typically school's nurse office. Whitley is in one of the bed's. Oscar right next to him.

Whitley wakes up.

WHITLEY: What happened?

OSCAR: You fainted. The nurse said is was probably because of the heat.

Whitley sit ups.

WHITLEY (groans) : I am sick of this sun. I'm not made for this heat.

He looks over to Oscar.

WHITLEY: How do you withstand the sun, Oscar?

OSCAR: Well, I was a farm boy. I worked in the sun all day long. It's nothing close to Vacuo's heat, but still it's something.

WHITLEY (slightly laughs): Farm boy, huh?

OSCAR: Yes?

WHITLEY (flirts): That's just a cute way saying you were a farmhand.

OSCAR (stammers): I - I guess so.

WHITLEY: I grew up in Atlas. The snow was pretty, but cold. It's not very useful in the heat.

OSCAR: Your body will get used to. It just takes time.

Oscar begins to leave, but turns back to Whitley.

OSCAR: I grew up in Mistral. We had the sun and the snow. You're pretty like the snow, Whitley.

Oscar leaves.

Whitley face turns red and falls back into the bed.

BLACKOUT

Day 4: Slow Dancing

INT. SCHNEE MANOR - Night

The ballroom of the Schnee Manor is filled with people. Food and drinks are set out. The elites of Atlas are chatting with each other. Still, the manor feels cold in more ways in than one.

JACQUES SCHNEE stands in the center of the ballroom. He taps his wine glass in hand.

JACQUES: Thank you for celebrating my successful election....

A young WHITLEY SCHNEE is by the punch bowl, away from the crowd.

With a sigh, Whitley ignores his father's speech in the background.

Someone else catches his eye, OSCAR PINE, standing at the other end of the table holding a cup of punch.

Whitley grabs his own cup of punch and walks over to him.

OSCAR (at Whitley): I see you're hiding at the punch bowl, too.

WHITLEY: I'm not hiding. I'm just sick of listening to my father's speech.

OSCAR: I think your sister agrees.

WHITLEY: Is Weiss here?

Oscar points Weiss out in the crowd with TEAM RWBY and JNR.

OSCAR: We're waiting to talk to father about those election results.

WHITLEY (rolls eyes): Good luck with that.

The boys clank their punch cups together.

JACQUES: ...let the party continue.

The slow music ques up.

Oscar finish up their punches.

OSCAR: Do you want to dance?

WHITLEY (flustered): What?

OSCAR: Is that what you do when music starts play?

Oscar reaches out his hand to Whitley. Whitley chugs down his punch and takes his hand.

Oscar leads the slow dance, with Whitley in his arms.

Whitley's face is a bright pink as they dance.

By the end of the dance, Oscar dips Whitley. Both of their eyes lock with each other.

As the dance ends, Oscar reunites with TEAM RWBY and JNR. Whitley is left a stammering and blushing mess.

Whitley pulls out a scroll to text Weiss. The text says, "What is the freckled boy's name?"

BLACKOUT.
