open rp | @indiestarterch: monica choi. lapd sergeant, top of her class. assigned to important taskforce. plot: monica never cries. but it's the anniversary of her family's death. her anxiety pills arent working so the only thing she knows how to do is use her fists, she just doesn't want to do it in a destructive way.

one, two. one, two. she throws punches hard against the boxing bag, tears freely flowing down her cheeks. monica grunts each time she hits it, each time her fists connect. she had been going for hours now, fists hurt and were bruising more and more by the second. her nose was deep red, eyes puffy. her anxiety pill has yet to work, but the only thing she knew what to do is to take the frustrations out with her fists.

she hears the door open to the gym, she catches the bag to settle it, not looking at who entered. leaning back, she readied her fists again, clearing her throat as her nose sniffles.

All of these sentences are mostly taking by my own mind and i'm not joking. It was hard finding material quotes regarding tournaments in historical or fantasy setting. Some are from shows or media but eighty percent is all from my own mind, please give credit if use these. Change pronouns, names, locations as you see fit. All of these involve the medieval event of a tournament and what happens around them.
