hey guys i know I haven't been doing much other than reblogging stuff lately so i just wanted to make this post to let people know that i'm still going to answer all the asks on my inbox, and i still have half finished art to post, i've just been a bit overwhelmed these past few weeks and haven't been able to properly focus on art

i'm probably going to continue being slow for a while, so idk when i'll have something new to post... buy i WILL post again.... eventually.....

What is your favorite type of moth

You also look a lot like a moth

Oh, my favorite would easily go to Hyalophora Cecropia! One of the giant silkworm moths! I absolutely love the color grey, and when accented by red and white~~~~just the look alone makes it very easy to choose as a favorite among all of the Lepidoptera..!

Of course my second choice would be Actias Luna, another silk moth! Such a very pleasing mint green with a sharp purple edge to its wings. And I love its long tails!

Also, for the brief time I was summoned in the form of a paper doll for the road trip, I got to see the silk moth caterpillars the author is growing! Hyalophora Euryalus! My pick for third favorite. Well... Neck and neck with Antheraea polyphemus that is... If all goes well, hopefully they will become big, red-brown moths with similar markings to Hyalophora Cecropia!

As you can see... I am a bit biased toward the giant silk moths...

I have always took comfort in moths.. I used to watch them for hours as a boy, flitting around our poorch light...even thought them as my only friends for a while... Heh heh.. Very strange how I am always being compared to moths... Very strange~~~~
