Went to the Social Lubricant, a very open and trendy bar in Wynwood. The lighting is dark and the music is loud, but you can easily raise your voice to be able to talk to people. The drinks are not too expensive, I ordered a Tequila Sunrise my newest go to drink, and asked for "any Tequila. I'm not too sure of whether it was because I was relaxed about it or they just had great deals, that they gave me Patron for only 10 bucks! I only got a drink to be able to have something in my hand while I walk, sometimes I get water.
I walked around a little and was going to start talking to some people by the bar. I saw two girls that were ok passing by me and stopped them to ask if I was at the right bar. They were French girls who were staying in Miami for a 10-Week Internship. It was a little difficult handling both girls, especially because one of them was not very fond of me, mostly because I wasn't being loud enough, which was difficult since I just got braces. I was more or less ready to open the next set and then said "I'm waiting for my friends, one is a cameraman and one is spy." Then all of the sudden the cameraman, Rob, shows up. Talk about perfect timing.
After this, it was cake keeping their attention now that it was more individual. He took the girl who wasn't having too much fun and she seemed to like him. We went on to the dance floor and danced around a little. The music allowed for creative dancing, but not at all closed quarters. We weren't really able to kino them too much. Rob was doing a great job at killing it on the dance floor. I was able to make several positive jokes about him and making my girl laugh. Mostly about how good he was. My girl was not that great of a dancer, you could tell she was reserved and she told me herself that, what she was doing was the extent of her dancing.
We left them to go the bathroom and came back to find them by the bar. At this point I suggested to leave them and open a second set. But Rob refused, so I decided to back him up on it. However, for the rest of the night, we seemed to have reached a flat line. We were not building a connection and the girls were not any more attracted to us that they had been when we met them. We were able to take them to a different bar, where there were a million other more attractive girls. Once again making me regret my decision. However, we stuck with it. It started raining and we were kicked out of Wood Tavern. I did get to get the name of one of the cute bartenders. We asked the girls if they were down for a walk, but when we offered to take them home, they were hesitant. We called them out on it, and they agreed. I decided to let Rob handle it, since it was more toward his direction, dropped them off at his car and then drove away.
In conclusion, I managed to get her to add me on Facebook since nor her phone nor Whatsapp worked. But it wasn't worth staying with her all night. We should have approached more girls that would have been more interested or at least more interesting.
