i'm here to gush over your Leah/branleah art, it is stunning truly phenomenal, you are so talented ❤️❤️❤️❤️. you've said you picture a blonde mike feist as bran but do you have someone in mind when you draw Leah? i've been picturing a rougher 90's damon albarn as bran but when it comes to leah i'm blanking

i don’t really have a clear fancast for leah either. she’s kinda hazy in my head but generally i think of her as someone with big expressive blue eyes and an air of sadness. i suppose there’s a mix of a few faces that could work, maybe a bit of lagertha from vikings and jane bennet in the 2005 p&p adaptation. maybe a bit of anya taylor joy in the witch for younger leah. but no one specific though.

with bran i had a hard time picturing him at first because his whole alpha demeanour in the books kept making me think of someone older and more rugged and physically imposing. i couldn’t get it to mesh with his actual physical description, but then i saw mike faist in challengers and it kinda clicked. but yesss 90s damon albarn also works really well!!

although tbh when i’m actually drawing them i try not to focus on anyone specific because then i feel pressured to try and capture that person’s likeness and that’s really hard 😅. so i kinda end up focusing more on the general vibe i guess. also since i draw in a more anime style it ends up being more inspired by anime characters than real people haha
