My brother's big draft cross mare passed today....

We have no idea what happened. She was fine this morning and found already gone in the pasture this evening. No signs of injury, illness, or struggle.

I'm really tired....

When the skies of November turn gloomy.

This event was common knowledge for my family when Iwas growing up, my dad being from Wisconsin. It seems to have gained a lot of attention in the last few years.

Is there a term for when you try to share something you're passionate about with people you're close to and they seem to take interest but after more than several failed attempts they're never able to actually join you in said thing?

I get it, life happens, but some of these things are ONCE a year and the last FOUR years something has always come up.

It's at the point that I'm going to stop extending the invitation.

Snorty, because we snort A LOT

Noodle, because when I try to move her to make room for myself she suddenly becomes a limp noodle and her body doesn't work.

I haven't been very active lately. I've gotten some really great ground work in with Mocha in just two weeks. Then had a fight with a mini stud pony.

I'm putting the picture under 'keep reading' for anyone that is squeamish. It's not horrible but I am bleeding.

He bit me twice. Were going to learn some manners the next time I see him.

Then Mocha hit her head and now has a giant bald spot between her eyes, right over her star.

Every other place she's lost hair this summer, it has grown back in black. I don't want a giant black spot right in the middle of her star. I'm assuming because the skin is white it will come back white.
