So i’ve been suspecting that i have adhd for a little while now. Ever since i started highschool (im a freshman) it’s just been so much harder because i’m learning things that i don’t already know, and i constantly have to get on myself to focus focus focus and it’s so exhausting i can’t do it anymore. I want to go to my mom and ask her to take me to the doctor but i feel like if i mention adhd she’s gonna act like i’m too old, or i get too good of grades to have it. I’m so confused :/ pls help

I would super recommend watching How To ADHD on Youtube, she has a video about talking to your parents about thinking you have ADHD.

Would it be possible for you to make an appointment and go on your own, or do you have to do it through her?

I wish I had some good advice for this but I’m not very good at making people listen when they’re refusing to.
