I've seen a few of these aus and I really love them so I decided that I wanted to make one too!!

A lot of the time people keep them having the same personalities as the original, which I really loved, but I wanted to make one where Zanka gets to be the "I'm a freak >:)" and Jabber is the "I'm a freak :'("

In this version I have Zodyl be the one to find Zanka in the well, which seems to be what people normally do, and Enjin finds Jabber when he's a very young child (like before he finds Riyo) and is a father figure to him.

I don't know Enjin's backstory cuz I've only watched the anime, but I'm just going to say that he finds Jabber after he goes through everything that makes him the way he is. I'll probably adjust the au as I learn more information about the characters (pls no spoilers tho 🙏).

Now why is Zanka Like That you ask? Idk ig Zodyl encourages him to indulge himself as a way to make him hold back less on missions and it spiraled out of control or something 🤷

(I feel I should clarify that Zanka's relationship with Zodyl is pretty much just like the one he has with Enjin, where he just really wants his praise, not like Jabber's relationship with Zodyl. So there's not anything weird going on besides the insane amounts of manipulation)

More about Jabber! (I'm bouncing back and forth a lot, but you're still reading this so it's fine) I gave him a bunch of piercings, and also want to give him some cybersigilism tattoos, because I think that he would use that as a way to indulge in pain in a way that Enjin approves of (Enjin just thinks Jabber is taking after him).

There's more that I'll prob cover later, but for now here's a few doodles :)

Recently I bought the ninth volume of Hirayasumi and I for some reason the narrator really stood out to me, so I wanted to try something like that. I think I might have over done the tell don't show, but oh well. Also Please forgive me guys, I know most of the backgrounds are like undercooked, but I was really losing my mind because I actually kind of hate colouring. I just cant force myself to fully render like five backgrounds. Then again maybe I should have just stuck to black and white if I didn't want to colour, haha.

Anyways I really like the kind of angst where its not a big dramatic fight or something where it changes the characters lives, but more like a small inconsequential moment or thought that wont really change anything, but the character experiencing it just kinda has to live with it. I don't know if that makes sense, but any fic writers or comic artists please make more of that lol.
