“The Best Experience in Saigon”

Our Vespa night tour of Saigon was everything we didn’t expect but thoroughly enjoyed. To say that we had a fantastic time is a definite understatement. The first stop would have easily been my favourite had it not been for that secret cafe that left me captivated. It was enigmatic, and there’s passion permeating the air that I felt like we were in a Paulo Coelho novel.

The moment we mounted up and hit the road was exhilarating; but to be part of the real Saigon – stopping for red lights side-by-side with some of Saigon’s biking demographic; riding past streets rife with history; dining on the sidewalks where the Vietnamese do (the best food I've had for the entire trip!) -- is an experience like no other. True to their words, Patrick and Josh and their Vespa drivers took us around back-alleys where no tourists go.

We wish we had more time for that last stop, but alas we must catch our flight. But it was one great adventure to cap off our trip. The rarity of the experience is something I know we’ll yearn to return to. We hope we can come back for a longer Vespa adventure.

We thank Patrick, Josh, Steve, Bao and Phuong and your Vespa drivers for this odyssey of visual and gastronomic enjoyment. Everything was exceptional – on and off the road!

“The Only Way to See Vietnam!” Riding a vintage Vespa 2-up is an experience my partner & I won't forget. These little 2 strokes handled the roads & terrain just perfectly. The 7 day tour was just great from day one. Vespa Adventures made us welcome from the minute we landed in HCMC & during the next 7 days they looked after us. Nothing was too big an ask for them to do when requested. The accomodation we stayed in was first class, as was the food etc. Our tour leader couldn't do enough to ensure we had the best & safest experience possible. The memories, the laughs, the experiences etc wil stay with us for a long time to come & as big Arnie would say, ‘I'll be back.’

The country roads were in better condition than I had expected but you did have to watch for large potholes, bikes pulling out in front of you and the odd water buffalo, lazily crossing the street looking for shade. Most days were around 35°C and sunny so I am glad we chose to ride scooters instead of sitting in a stuffy tour bus – in my opinion Vietnam travel is best experienced with the wind in your hair, the sun on your face and a foul smell up your nose.”

Next-door neighbors' kids.

We had a few hours in HCM City before flying on into Vietnam, but we wanted to see some of this city , while we had time. This was the perfect way to get a good overall glimpse of the city, and really feel the pulse of the place. The drivers were great, amongst all the traffic, I felt safe and secure and my 4-year-old son had a blast!!!! We aren't big motorcycle riders, but this was just great fun, the drivers carefully negiotated the traffic like pros, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. They took care of my son Nate like their own, and showed him the sights and were just wonderful . Don't miss this opportunity, seeing Saigon on the back of a bike is definitely the way to go, even for an old girl like me at 50!!!

“Book a holiday you will never forget”

My husband and I just finished the 7-day tour to Nha Trang with Vietnam Vespa Adventures and it was all they promised and more. I will not spoil the surprises along the way, but let me say that this trip was worth the money - and even more it was an experience that you will never forget. Steve, Joshua and their team were attentive to all of our needs and took us to places that you could only go to with local knowledge. If you are considering taking this tour, please take my advise and book, you will not be sorry. We had fun riding, eating and great night life if you want to go out.

"Our VVA tour was a brilliant mix of adventure, socialising, fun and education. We took our two girls of 12 & 16 on 3 days of scootering up the coast of Vietnam. I rode a 1966 vintage Vespa and Rachael a new twist-and-go. We had a wonderful group of people with us and have made many new friends along the way. Women will love the three-Day Vespa tour!

We have just completed the 3 Day HCM - Mui Ne Vespa Tour and we loved every exciting minute of it! Our group comprised 3 women and 4 men and from our first meeting with Steve and his team we were made to feel completely at ease as we were given an overview of the bikes and our first lesson on how to enjoy our time on the roads in Vietnam. The men all chose Vintage Vespa's and the women were more than happy with their choice to ride the alternative automatics. After catching a ferry to Vung Tau, the real fun began. I can quite honestly say that riding a motorbike in Vietnam was the most exhilarating & awesome experience. Day 1 was spent laughing our heads off at ourselves, each other, and the hilarity that is Vietnam roads, all the while pinching ourselves that we were really here doing this. Our guide Walter was a wealth of information and took us to those off the beaten track locations that many tourists don't have the privilege of visiting. The tour was totally professional from start to finish and our support vehicle was immediately on hand to fix any minor issue that arose. The accommodation and meals on the trip were excellent and set the standard for the remainder of our time in this wonderful country. To any women who are wondering if this trip is really suitable for females, the answer is absolutely! You will not be disappointed and you do not need to have had previous riding experience to enjoy this type of adventure travel. This trip has ignited in us a desire to do more bike travelling in the future and we hope to come back with the kids and do the 7 Day Tour in a couple of years.

A Great Many Thanks to You and the VVA Team

We have just got back home this weekend & we would both like to say a great many thanks to you and the VVA team (Steve who met us at the Cafe Zoom), Lu who was our guide and one great personality. Hope you have others like him as he makes a tour a lot of fun but also enlightening with his knowledge. A simple example was visiting the cake shop(French style) and having ice cream and the cross-river ferry was an experience unto itself. It was a wonderful afternoon tour -- seeing the other other side of HCMC and not the tourist bus stops. The guys driving the Vespas were an amazing bunch and one never felt worried, especially after the first 2 minutes of entering the traffic. I jokingly referred tomy good lady as the replacement for Peter Fonda as the new easyrider. Absolutely great time and a great bunch of guys.
