13th Feb 2018 - Seeing Incubus live had been a dream of mine ever since I was a kid. When my brother lent me his “A Crow Left of the Murder” CD, I heard Megalomaniac and was immediately hooked. In 2011, when they did a concert here in Malaysia I couldn’t go because I had no one to go with. This time, I was ready to go alone if I had to but my boyfriend decided he didn’t want me to go alone and flew all the way here to accompany me to the concert. It was one of the best nights of my life - I’ve waited more than a decade (half of my life!) to see them live, and 7 years since I missed their concert. I jumped ecstatically when they played Megalomaniac and cried like the delicate little crybaby I am. The crowd was great, well behaved, but you can see their spirits light up every time a new song started and they carried it until the end of the show. They sang every word of every song - a real rock audience.
Also, Brandon Boyd is real you guys. Mike Einziger is real. Incubus is real.
Made this montage of whatever snaps I had saved on my snapchat memories from the show. Mind you, the editing is bad and the video is shaky but, I mean, I was technically shaking the whole time so.. here’s proof to how absolutely amazing the show was.
