I think like sometimes, that Hesh isn’t meant to be a ghost, he’s not a ghost, he’s just a son, and he’s just a brother. He makes bad calls, because he is only what Elias raised him to be, so when Elias is gone, he is only, to himself— worth as much as his brother is safe. He doesn’t realize he can’t get closure and keep Logan safe, or that closure will never exist for him, because he’s not meant to just exist, then not, as a ghost is intended to

Which makes it even more tragic that at the end of the day, when he doesn’t get a single one of those things.

Cod + halo pen sketches!! Been liking call of duty a lot honestly

I hear that a lot of big Carolina fans (not ALL) disliked her at first and honestly I think that’s supposed to be on purpose, that you don’t like her until you understand her, as that is how she is regarded by many other characters

I relate heavily to Carolina, to her entire character, and I think that’s why I hated her so much at first, she was a reflection of the parts of myself I was most insecure about and for the first while she was on screen, that was the only thing other characters saw. That she was selfish, too competitive, that she didn’t care.

And I can’t help but wonder if that’s on purpose, that you, the viewer are only to focus on the flaws of her character for the longest time, that you’re supposed to resent the decisions she makes, because that’s how Carolina feels about herself. Because she couldn’t look past her flaws, neither could you

recently I’ve been drawing a lot of rvb and halo in class and since I don’t always have a chance to color them it just looks like from someone who only knows halo that im just drawing master chief all the time which to a certain extent I am but not always so irs always like “is that master chief” to which I say Yes if I know they don’t want to hear a waterfall of information about a show where they roleplay as sherbert flavored chiefs but if they do I usually explain it very surface level like “oh well actually uh it’s from a halo based side show made a while back, and since it was earlh on, the classic ‘chief armor’ was what they stuck with through and through since it would also be the most consistent through each game so the changes won’t be that drastic when they switched.” Or just simply “kinda, it’s like chief but blue”

But now transitioning from a 2 year old rvb obsession to a 5 month now old halo obsession it’s literally all I know how to draw. In addition to the fact, long before I knew anything about halo at all, I used halo and titanfall 2 conceptual art to learn how to draw. So without references befause it’s so normal to me, so if I have to create a character for something I end up making them look like they’re from halo. Need to draw a knight? It would be cool if I made it look like odst armor like an odst knight, no one would know. Need to make a spidersona? Fucking Spodst.

And I thought I was being subtle about it until I get asked questions like “Is that… spiderman or a halo guy” and NOW I gotta answer “oh uh it’s both I thought it would be cool” or “is that a knight or another halo guy” “both, pretty awesome huh”

In addition to an outsider perspective where I’m literally only drawing ‘chief’ in different colors and everything as Spartans or ODSTs I look Deranged and it makes me wonder if people think about me at school drawing and go “oh there’s that little halo weirdo” And that one day they’ll through rocks at me. Because this is all I do, but atleast I am very good at it
